Guys do we have any clutch adjustment videos for duke 200 on YouTube ? i feel the clutch is loose on my duke, cause nowadays the gears misses have become common now, and the gear lever has a play of about a 1.5cm.

Maybe, I do not own a Duke. Otherwise, I'd have confirmed.

Well..... from my own ownership experience I can tell you that the 6 hole sprocket cannot be fitted on the 4 hole wheel because of two reasons. The first is as I mentioned in my last post, The second reason being that the 6 hole sprocket has the holes placed closer than on a 4 hole sprocket and so it cannot be fitted on the 4 hole hub.
One could argue that the sprocket and hub can be changed without spending on a new wheel but as it turns out the new sprocket and hub utilizes a different damper set configuration as well, so any way you look at it you can't fit the 6 hole sprocket in a four hole model bike.

Got the second free service done today.. I was experiencing low acceleration, reported the issue to svc guy , he told me that clutch cable adjustment and replacement of air filter will solve the issue. But when I rode the bike after service but the acceleration was the same as before, also I found in the bill that only oil filter was changed along with the engine oil. Not satisfied with this service.

My bike has done 5k kms, is it a good time to change the air filter?

Has anyone attached handle bar end weights on their D200 to reduce the handlebar vibrations?? Do I need to change the handle bar to add the bar end weights??

U need to change the complete handle to that of a 390. You can not only add dampers.
It cost me 1100 for the 390 handlebar plus two P200NS dampers (d200 dampers were out of stock)

Honestly, I did not find any difference in reduction in vibrations. Handle feels bigger though

I think yes you have to put the handle bar of D390. When i asked the SVC guy for balencers he told that you have to change the handle bar...

Doesn't the D200 have the same handle that of the Pulsar. It has the bar end weights as well. The vibes I feel are mostly near 5-6K RPM. And later in the rev range, at around 9-10K, the vibes are felt at the footpegs.

When you say pulasr..which pulsar are you referring to? There are too many..if you were referring to 200NS..that has a clip on handlebar.

                    Dampers are the handlebar weights..

No not the NS. The older one which did not have the fake clip on bars.

the handle bar of the 200 is not the same as the older pulsars. though i do not know if adding bar end weights along with a 390's handle bar would help.
A cheaper way to minimize the vibes felt at the palm is to use those grip covers you get. I think a standard grip cover that is available at local spares shops should be a direct fit for the d200.
btw, i like that light buzz you get at the handlebar and the footpegs (which is not felt if i wear shoes)

Just got my Duke serviced and got the starter coil replaced under warranty as well. The bike seems to struggle to get past 110kmph whwereas it used to effortlessly cross 120kmph earlier.Tends to vibrate like crazy and engine is gruff. Mileage dropped to 15kmpl at those speeds.Any clue what could be reason for this ???

I know the right amount of vibes feel good but when they go above the desired level, it increases fatigue.
Man I'm really starting to hate this bike now(or Bajaj for that matter). I go for upgrading the sprocket, the hub is not of the right type.
I go for adding the bar end weights, the handle bar is not compatible.

you mean to say before the (do you mean stator coil? or the starter motor?)replacement it used to hit 120 effortlessly?
start by getting the clutch checked, probably you need to get the free play adjusted or the clutch plates are kaput. And are there any other symptoms ?
I was doing around the 100's yesterday for around 80km and around the 80's for another 80km, overall happy with the figures of approx 34kmpl

S1D- You are right..the bike was smooth and refined before the stator coil replacement. And the 15kmpl figures mean that something certainly is wrong..isn't it?Even i used to get around the same mileage figues earlier. Moreover mine has clocked only 5800kms in its 13 months of ownership
