Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Pick a *quiet* road, preferably straight. In first and second gears accelerate quickly to 40-50, shift to neutral, turn the engine off. Now you can hear all the transmission/suspension related sounds.Originally posted by Ujjwal96 View PostYeah thanks for the reply @ jbm_guy I am thinking of changing the diaphragm because I have noticed a significant lag in acceleration at 5k rpm and now the reason why I am blaming the chain because after the rear tyre change there was a problem of chain rubbing with something that problem was solved at the service center but after that also i feel that strange rubbing sensation at the foot pegs exactly at 5k rpm.

That's another good idea. But be careful when going back to 1st gear from Neutral at speeds of 40-50 kph. Not that you would hit rev limit max, but will also the gearbox will take heavy load. I've learnt this lesson a hard way on my Disco 125Originally posted by krixna View PostPick a *quiet* road, preferably straight. . Did this few times unknowingly and later on the gearbox always misbehaved, introducing too much of false gears between 1-5.... I'm very cautious now.
But that's a great idea for those who don't have center stand. I bought center stand esp for these purpose such as chain cleaning, observing vibrating elements, engine leaks, cleaning...

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Oops!! Forgot to mention that specifically. Ride the bike to a stop in neutral, or start the engine and shift to 2nd near 20kmph.Originally posted by jbm_guy View Post

I said shift to neutral at 40-50 and turn off the engine. Do not try shifting into gear again! Also be careful while shifting to neutral from 2nd. Press very lightly on the lever, look at your console for green N if you have doubt, then release clutch and switch off.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Finally sourced zapper fq for 2200 including a free coffee and a puncture repair..
Damn the dry grip from revz-s at rear and zapper fq at front is phenomenal..
My ns now now grips the road like a leech..
Plus got engine oil replaced so was ever more happy..
Motul 7100 20w50 lasted for 7k on bike.. At around 5.5k bike became little harsh but still wasnt that bad..

Please keep posting ur reviews after regular intervals. Even I am looking to change my tyres soon. If Revz's are so good then why go for expensive Michellin or Pirelli.Originally posted by vivek7593 View PostFinally sourced zapper fq for 2200 including a free coffee and a puncture repair..

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I too couldn't believe it might help very much. Maybe it depends on the momentum at which crash happens. But it might save your if you hit near by vehicle while overtaking..... But that spoils the sporty look and gives a damn dirt bike feeling [emoji6], Well that's what KTM isOriginally posted by viki sah View PostDoes it really save knuckles or just for show purpose?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
7k km on Motul 7100..... That's tooo long interval and impressive. But that's good for the money we spend. Now that interests me. Bajaj oil gives about 3000-4000km for me. 5100 lasted good for about 3000 km... But i changed it on purpose as it didn't give improvements.Originally posted by vivek7593 View PostFinally sourced zapper fq for 2200 including a free coffee and a puncture repair..

MRF revs is better than zapper. How's is wet grip. It's not known for wet

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Pirelli will provide even better grip and helps better with wheel lock conditions as i have heard from many media. Plus the wet grip is also expected to be good.Originally posted by bikerahul View PostPlease keep posting ur reviews after regular intervals. Even I am looking to change my tyres soon. Maybe a owner can give more light here
That said, MRF revs is decent enough for our requirements as Pirelli life is lesser as i heard which we can't afford to change often
