and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.
#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
#overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road
(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

Took a test drive of the vehicle a couple of days back.... It had barely clocked about 500 kms according to the showroom guy...Originally posted by vinodhs87 View Postsame problem exists in mine too... no vibrations on the handle bar or footpegs, literally none... little vibrations once in a while on the tank area... but the tail portion where you have pointed out vibrates quite insanely... checked with SVC, they couldnt do anything about it... it vibrates quite heavily sometimes that a guy cannot sit as a pavilion
... i tried once wit my friend riding... i couldnt sit for more than 2 mins and had to move back a lil to the end of the seat ...
The bike had vibrations on handlebar and seats... especially the rear seat which my wife complained off...
I have booked a Yellow Pulsar though.... Im worried about the vibrations... :-(

Haven't herad any thing os NS being tested. Let's see what 2013 holds for the NSians!!
No These are not from BAJAJ. These are from the big private players in the automotive customization/modification sector.Originally posted by albyjose View PostIs this upgrades from bajaj?Or newer NS will come with these add-ons?....Riding the Indian Monster : 200NS....

well, my bike doesn't have handle bar vibrations, none so ever.... but rear seat vibrations, YES ....Originally posted by pravin.murthy View PostTook a test drive of the vehicle a couple of days back.... It had barely clocked about 500 kms according to the showroom guy...

to add, according to the discussion i had with the SVC guys, bajaj have fixed the vibration issues in the latest batch of the NS, so most probably yours will be free of vibrations, atleast in the handle bar and footpeg part ... hope for the best
... the bike you took for TD would be definitely a older NS, probably from the initial batches of manufacture....
in any case, you will fall in love with this bike once u get it and these vibrations wont matter and you will either get used to the vibrations or wont even notice later, unless anyone points it to you and asks... just like many other NSiansYou're the guy who'll be sneaking out of your bedroom at three o'clock in the morning to look at your bike.

I feel the vibes under the rider seat when the engine goes beyond 5000 rpm. Sometimes I can feel them in through my balls.Originally posted by broken87 View PostNo, nothing on the handle bars or footpegs. even the tank vibs are minimal as I stated above. only the tail section is giving trouble, the portion highlighted in the pic below goes insane.
Yes if i get it rectified I will ask what was wrong with it etc
No vibes in the handle bars.
I was thinking when was Bajaj going to bring a few accessories/upgrades for our NS. And thats when I saw your post.Originally posted by utsavchs View PostUpgrades to be launched around the corner for our NS.
Custom Brake & Clutch Levers (3.5k ~ 5k estimated)
Cam shafts (price not yet disclosed)
Custom Sprocket and Chain (price not yet disclosed/no data available)
Free Flow Exhaust (There are 2 designs. Sound of the straight one is better than the curved one. Over all quality of the exhaust is good. It gets real bassy and punchy over 4k RPM. Design of one exhaust resembles Race Fit exhaust for CBR1000RR 2010-11. Both of them are NOT underbelly exhaust and would be giving the much required Ground Clearance. 6.8k~9k estimated)
Customized Petal disk brakes (No data available. 10k ~ 12k estimated)
The below upgrades were only seen under testing phase hence can not comment
Custom Headlamp with a really huge projector.
I would seriously consider the free flow exhaust.
Hope these won't have a very heavy price tag. Lets keep our fingers crossed.Last edited by danny king; 12-28-2012, 06:01 PM.Your bike is a part of you....

Just relax, I too faced the same issue during my 1st test ride(though i was aloneOriginally posted by pravin.murthy View PostTook a test drive of the vehicle a couple of days back.... It had barely clocked about 500 kms according to the showroom guy...

). I come from yamaha family so there are vibes on handlebar n footpegs but if this is your 1st bike or you are not from yamaha then you wont find any. The test vehicles are screwed pretty badly by showroom guys.
You have made a wonderful choice
enjoy the waiting time
Ps: pillion seat do have vibes, but not that much.Being best is not about beating everyone. It's about how much you learn from others and make yourself even better

guys need help regarding rear tyre. I know the one installed on CBR 150 matches our bike's specification. However, I just read R15 v 2.0 specs, even its rear tyre says 130/70. But on roads that is wider than CBR's right? Correct me pls(if wrong)Being best is not about beating everyone. It's about how much you learn from others and make yourself even better

Can anyone tell me whats the rim width of Yamaha FZS...?? I am thinking of switching to MRF Revz 140/60 r17 to get the ride height lowered by a few mm. Though it'll look a bit odd on our NS rims but will surely help in getting a better footing on the road... but somehow the rear rim of FZS seems wider

Did you contact the people who does the upholstery work? May be they can reduce the thickness of the sponge of the seat by an inch or so.Originally posted by Speedshift View PostCan anyone tell me whats the rim width of Yamaha FZS...?? Love the ride, not the destination

Are you going to put both fz tyre+rim on NS?Won't that destroy handling?"Vibes transmitted from crank shaft to frame, then through the bearings of the head stock and into the stem where it meets the triple clamp and into the clip-ons where it is greeted with great pleasure by my hands"-ratfighter mod rtr
