WTF....??? It just came off..... and that too when you were riding at 15-20kmph....

There are a few quality niggles it seems... similar thing happened with me when the leg guard of my NS fell with just the slightest of the impact only to see that the nuts were not hard enough and had broken in half.... mind you, it happened to both the sides on two different occasions

EDIT : can anyone tell me what is the approx life of the chain set.....???

    • Hey guys!
I received an SMS from Bajaj regarding the Rubber Grommets. Will update you guys when I get them fitted.

I had this query but...the SMS that I had received was on my Uncle's phone. Could you please tell me the procedure to get all the future alerts on my Phone it self?
I would also like to get alerts via email.

      Please help me out!

      Thank you.

The upper nut breaking into half with impact is well known and I hope Bajaj takes a note of it soon, otherwise the very purpose of the crashgaurd is wasted.
I also fell at speeds of 35-40 kmph in off road.... My handle got bent but it didnt break... and also it didnt bend too much, as I could easily ride it for the next 500 kms...

I chnaged my Chain set at 14200 kms.... It costs around 1209 INR...

Its not that Number of posts that matters, its the number of Kilometers that does and how you do those kms that matters....

Thanks a ton dada.... can you guide me as to what to see in the chain set to know if its worn and needs to be replaced...?? My local mechanic told me that my chain set is nearing its life although I had just clocked 7000kms. Is it okay, also I don't feel any difference while I am riding so I presume that its fine for now.

I don't see this as a Jugaad from any side bro...but an INVITATION for something more SERIOUS TO HAPPEN!! I would recommend It would have been better if you could have got a temp handle from any shop of any bike, It could have been fixed by mech! If it can't then it's more better to tow it to place then this Jugaad, It's scary mate!! You really played with your life...

When I switch on the bike after not riding for more than 2 hours the low oil pressure indicator lights up after 2.5km. I stop the bike and switch it off. Start again and the light does not come again.

Sensor issue or should I go to SVC ?
                    Any pointers ?

In my case, they've called me for a free modification. Try contacting your dealer.. They could change the mobile number.. I'm not sure.

Why don't you change the tyres to some better ones ? How much kms done till now ?

And I see in your trip one guy with black R15 has a projector light set up. Is he on Xbhp ??? Can you ask him to pen down some details on projector set up on R15 with it's durability:

Thanks Mate... But please ask him or if you can pen down the info in R15 V1 Ownership thread!!

                              • Hey mate, the guy with the r15, yes he is an Xbhp member. But i don't think he's much active on the forum, His name is Vishnu, he's from Cochin. He din't complain any problems about battery drainage or anything, but will ask him nonetheless. Sorry for intervening. Both me and JK are mutual friends with him, he's our riding partner..! :-D

                                Cheers Mate
