Yes bro. I had the same problem and it's cone set issue. I faced the same too , and changing cone set solved the problem. But along with changing cone set adjustment of the same properly also matters.

After a week i open up my garage and found my NS rear tyre flat.Got nail in it so filled some air and head to SVC to put in tubless liquid but in SVC they don't do that so i went to workshop recommanded by SVC and they put some chinese brand stuff named close to michelin.I had used that brand in my non-tubless tyre in my CBZ Star and in my DIO too and its doing good but made me confused not in a quality matters but i thought for tubless tyre they'll use some other form of liquid?Total cost NRs.1050 (both)For single NRs.550

Ranging from radiator issues to connecting rod problems. In time, probably within a year or two, bajaj will take care of them and ns would become a proper reliable platform, as it happened with the classic pulsar and dtsi. As of now, I would say that the 220 is more reliable as a daily commuter/occaisonal tourer with good power. If you want a great, modern and prrformance oriented product with some niggles, the 200ns is always there.Sent from my GT-I9001 using xBhp Connect mobile app

Guys spare parts of pulsar ns200 also available in the market next 1-2years because the smaller 150 ns and 180ns pulsar share the same parts except engine related parts like radiator and carburator

Thanks guys for discussing engine related issues because engine is the heart of the bike and i have purchased pulsar 200ns because it has ktm engine except the 3spark plug area(upper part, head).

Having a problem again guys. I have attached some pics. Well there is a small trail of water which is dirty and little oil. It smells pungent. And is just how the exhaust smoke smells. I am 1300 km on odo. Wvery morning after I come back from the gym and put the bike on cwnter stand this puddle develops. I have attached pica od the puddle of water and the area under the exhaust from where the puddle occurs. Throughout the day the water does not accumulate except in the morning after I come from gym. It is creating a nuisance. My floor has been ruined due to this. It is occuring from the past few days

It's condensation from the exhaust system. It usually occurs, as it should, when any vehicle has been parked overnight, thereby given enough time to cool down and moisture accumulate within the cooler steel exhaust system, and is then started in the morning. All bikes have a drainage hole located on the underside of their exhaust system, that's where the water escapes from.

You see the same thing with cars when you start them first thing in the morning. There'll be drops of water coming out of the car exhaust.

So nothing to worry about as far as the bike is concerned. Can't say the same thing about your floor. Alternatively you could park it elsewhere after you come back from the gym to let the drain out first.

Hello xbhpians...this is my first post here. Ive recently booked the NS200 and the dealer said that it'll be delivered in a couple of days. Im new to biking (just turned 18, nobody in my family owns a two wheeler), and I dont have a lot of experience when it comes to bikes. So please bear with the silly questions I'm 5'10" and ~60 kgs, and a few friends have warned my that the NS weighs a lot, on checking it was 145 kgs I think. Should this be considered a problem?
Also a lot of posts mentioned the problems with the tires. Is it absolutely essential to change the tires or can I use them in the summer season and change them before the rains as they are slippery? Also the dealer said that I should keep it below 50-60 till the first servicing, he was really vague on that matter. When I raised my concerns about the tires he said that eurogrip is one of the best when it comes to tires and I shouldnt worry at all.
And could you please give me some advice as to when I should change the engine oil or which one is good?
I know most of the questions will be answered in the thread but its 1554 pages
Ps. The dealer was offering it in any colour for an extra 6k, saw a couple of them in the Ninja-green. Looked b-e-a-utiful, just my parents didnt approve of green

First of all congrats for your decision of choosing the beast. I also received the NS a couple of days back.
For your height and weight i would suggest you to take a couple of test rides and see if you can handle the weight.
About the tires, i would say from my recent experience that the tyres arent bad. Yesterday there was a heavy downpour in here when I was riding, and i didnt felt anywhere that my tires are slipping or any thing. So tires are good.
Yes you should strictly follow the speed limit. Keep it below 42 till 1000 kms and below 50 till 2000 kms.
Dont worry about the engine oil so much. You have just booked the bike. Ride the bike for atleast 2000 kms, then think about changing the engine oil.

Thanks a lot! Didnt actually take a test drive at the dealers, rode my friend's bike a bit. Didnt face much of a problem to be honest. Whoa 2000 kms....thats a lot...will do though.
The tires part is a big relief...no need for any hassles now.

Yes same was my expression, on reading the manual but, the run-in period is a hefty 2000 kms. And i tell you its very though to control yourself from not speeding. The bike has an amazing power delivery. The throttle response has blown my mind and I think you would also have the same experience.

Hey nice choice. I think if you are taller than 5.8 then weight of bike won't matter cause of its silencer design it's properly balanced. Maybe your friends are just jealous :P . I learned to ride a bike on my ns itself . The tyres are fine just use engine braking on roads where there is sand as they slip on loose gravel if applied brake. Apply brakes front 75 rear 25 Use engine braking too but not too lower RPM to higher. And about waiting till first 2000kms is a bit too much I didn't . Till first servicing go upto 50 . Shift between 4 to 4.5k rpm . Just see the rpm meter needle till the first servicing take maximum to 5k speed will stay within limits(no need to see the speedometer) . At the first servicing get the normal oil changed from the svc and about a month buy your own motul oil bottles and get it changed from a mechanic. Or if you trust the svc get motul from them at 1st servicing but I wouldn't trust their motul quality or motul oil as a matter of fact. Remember Motul 300v is overkill go upto 7100 max . Check coolant level while taking delivery. And supervise the servicing of possible.

Ill surely be careful during the run in period. As you didnt wait for the whole 2k kms did you face any problems which you think might be related to that? Being a tad bit over cautious here :P

Welcome bro in this community of ns owners.. yes definitely ns weighs much.. at 145 kgs its a bit hard to maneuver in the parking spots with engine off but once its in motion everything vanishes.. it turns and flicks with a lot less effort from the rider.. so weight mustn't be a problem as you have the legs to control all that mass :P (at 5'10" you will have no problem to put your foot down).. regarding tires, they are are truly hopeless esp. the rear tire.. the wet grip is nonexistent and under serious braking you will fishtail like crazy (speeds over 70 kmph).. if you are just going to use it to commute from point A to B without crossing 60 kmph then they will serve fine .. so the tire change is recommended but not absolutely essential.. regarding run in strictly aVoid the manual stated method .. it will lug the engine and is pointless.. keep the revs below 4500 rpm and above 3000 rpm during first 1000 kms and below 5000 rpm and above 3000 rpm after 1000 kms and until 2000 kms .. then you can slowly start increasing your revs .. ride mostly within the city where you can go through all the gears and vary rpm as well .. a short speed bursts are also healthy for the engine during this time .. also dont forget to idle for 1 to 2 minutes before moving ..regarding engine oil, get it changed at first servicing before 500 kms (you might change it at 250-300 kms as well as this oil will contain metal particles) and next at your second service at about 2000 kms.. you can pour in bajaj 20w50 dtsi oil at first service and in second change you can use motul 5100 of similar grade .. ride safe take it easy !
