Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi guys,
I brought a center stand and thought of a DIY. I have assembled the damper and all, but I am stuck at the hex bolt for the center stand. I tried removing it with a 12mm spanner, but it kind of slips when pressure is applied. The bolt seems rather very tight and is small for 13mm and big for 11mm.
Any tips or tricks for easy removal? I don't have WD-40 for the rust removal trick.
Thanks in advance.SOMETIMES,

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I am using the masseter for more than two months now. It has a great grip and performs well in corners. As it is 140/70, there will be increase in height and a slight decrease in top speed.Originally posted by Gowty View PostLooking for tire change.
As a follower of this Forum for quite a long time I see that "Michelin Pilot Street Radial" is the most chosen.
Michelin costs around 5.4K
MRF ZAPPER Q at 3.2K
MRF Masseter at 3.8K
130/70 is not available and the above mentioned ones are of 140/70.
I want to know about MRF Masseter and are there any low cost alternative to the Michelin.
Thanks

How about Wet grip and on Hard braking ?Originally posted by allen david View PostI am using the masseter for more than two months now. It has a great grip and performs well in corners. As it is 140/70, there will be increase in height and a slight decrease in top speed.
Also aren't we effectively over gearing by using a bigger profile tyre which means technically shouldn't we have a higher top end ??

Michelin hands down. You can browse my posts and see that I had a similar query and many posted for Michelin to be the go. And Michelin eke out 22/24k in total.Originally posted by Gowty View PostLooking for tire change.

Re: Pulsar 200ns - Radiator fan issue
I do had a little different problem, my radiator fan was not running at all. So I checked the fan by tripping the relay and fan started running. So i thought to chabge the relay but then I got excited to put a switch for the fan as I have done it in my gypsy for rallying. And put a switch on handle bar, not going into details but it works just fine whenever m engine heats up and in traffic I put on the fan. Hope this helpsOriginally posted by Naveen88 View PostLooks like the radiator fan is the actual problem and it is not working.
Got it replaced from a local mechanic( friend of my friend).
He was not able to find 20ns's radiator fan, so he bought and fixed duke 200's radiator fan instead.
Now the issue has been solved.
Estimate from Bajaj service centre: radiator fan + relay + labour = Rs. 2500 approx.
Total charges by the mechanic: Rs. 1500 (radiator fan + labour)
Outcome: Utmost care on my bike and total happiness.
He even addressed few issues which I haven't reported since I was worried only about the radiator issue.
This issue also proves the quality of bajaj parts, a bike which is just 2 years old and maintained well facing such problems.
Thank you guys for your help.
P.S. Service center guys also wanted to change the relay which actually didn't have any problem at all.

Hi please let me know what is the cause, I think petrol lines wont be a problem as petrol is going at full torque range so not flowing in low range cant be a issue.Originally posted by Red_Redemption View PostI had the same issue. It was related to the carb - but will have to pull my service records to know the exact resolution. I also had my fuel lines and fuel filter replaced since I had crossed 25,000km by then. Will try to get back to you in a few days.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi Guys
I am facing this weird Oil leaking issue.
I got the Blue side cover gasket changed but the issue still persists. I checked with one of the Service center person, he said that there is some issue with the coil inside, (doesn't make sense?) and quoted the cost to be ~2000.
Anyone has any suggestion regarding what the issue could be? This has been like this for a few of months now.
Bike Details:
Pulsar 200NS 2014 Make
12345 km on ODO
Changed oil to Motul 7100 a couple of months back
Last service was around 6 months back, but i keep lubricating the chain and also changed oil ( Leak has been there before that ).
Thanks

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I too have this problem. This happened after I changed to Motul. It eats away the Gasket. The leak is from the point where wires enter into the Engine. Either leave it as such. Or ask them to use Silicone sealant and then the whole wire set has to be replaced as per SVCOriginally posted by ankuu99 View PostHi Guys

Apply from where the wires are coming out . You can get it from any automibile parts shop if not available there, get it from shop where royal enfield bikes are serviced it's easily avialable there.Originally posted by sharadh View PostWhere exactly do i apply the sealant?
