    Putting a link from youtube who had similar issue. But in my case sometimes the display is dead for several minutes into driving and sometimes it lights up when I start or even take off the bike from side stand.

    What I am guessing from the video is the probability of errors below:
    1. Ignition Connector cable.
    2. Relay.
    3. Short circuit.

    Get the wiring and electrical checked.

      My eurogrips are losing grip, I can feel now. The tyre doesn't performs well in cold weather and the balance goes haywire when I taking turns or riding on uneven roads. The asphalt joints are scary sometimes as the front takes the track of asphalt. 9800 on the odometer, there were not such issues earlier.

        I agree with Harsh. I had the exact same problem, and it turned out to be a wiring issue. Cost me Rs. 500 to sort out at the SVC, which I found a bit steep for a bike under warranty.

        Mine too! It's scary when the tyres start tramlining and following longitudinal tracks in the asphalt. For my bike, it happens at both ends, even though the rear is a relatively new CEAT Zoom XL. I regularly get the wheel bearings checked, so it's not like the wheels are loose.

        Size difference is only very small.. and it not effect the kilometers average by much ..

          Has upsizing to 110/70-17 affected the handling of the bike? I've always felt that the AS200 is a very unwieldy, slow-handling bike to begin with!
          Deebee, check with Bunty at BP Roadies, he is Michelin and Motul listed dealer. He is also acknowledged for several known and reputed distributor for motorcycle gear and aftermarket accessories.

          Can someone here please tell if anybody has done a wheel alignment and balancing for their rides?

            When I changed my rear tyre, the tyre guy told me that my rear wheel and front disc needed balancing. Haven't found the time to get it done yet. Can a disc be balanced at all??!

              As far I know, only wheels get balanced. Do you know where to get them balanced at kolkata? I mean for two wheelers, can't find any place on the internet.

                Wellington, for sure... but I don't know exactly where. Best to ask at one of the numerous tyre shops there.

                  Would you please tell were exactly was the problem in the wiring as the mechanic checked and cleaned the connector for console and inspected the wiring.
                  He said it could be a defective console so he put an order to get a new console under warranty. But I am not too convinced about it.
                  Faulty relay could not be the issue as it happens almost always on cold starts. I believe I will wait a month for the console to arrive and then he will change it but the result will be same. The problem sometimes resolves if I fold the side stand then turn on the ignition but occasionally not always.

                    I didn't see exactly where the fault was, but it was somewhere in the cluster of wires at the front, ahead of the tank. The SVC guy took the front fairing off and tested each wire, and finally identified the problem. No parts were changed, but he taped up some wires and I've never had the issue again.

                      Will get all the cables thoroughly checked specially the ones near the handle. Were the wires shorted out? Or some loose connection?

                        I have no clue, really - I didn't watch carefully, or inquire. All I saw was that the mechanic was going through all the wiring at the front, and taping some of them up.

                        My best guess is that the insulation had somehow been stripped from the concerned wire, and was rubbing against the other wires or the body of the bike.

                          Anubhav, have the cables around the fork bracket, around steering radius be checked thoroughly. There is a break in the wiring which is exposed and is coming in contact with either the body or some other metal around it. It is a case of short circuit.

                            Still it leaves one thing unanswered. Why would it only happen when the bike is started after a long time. Once I start riding no matter how many times I try I could not recreate the problem. That is why svc has no clue about the issue as its 30kms away and by the time I reach there the issue is gone. I had to visit couple of times and one time made a video just to show the svc manager that this problem persists.

                              Yes you are right, when there is a problem and you are unable to show the same with proof to SVC, it annoys a lot. Let me share an incident. It was just over a week when I took delivery of my ride and one fine day noticed that no light horn is working on the bike. I thought it is the fuse so, I went to spare shop, got the fuse and had it changed myself. I came back home and parked the bike, when I was leaving after a couple of hours, the same thing again. I took the bike to showroom and they said it's the immobilizer that's short circuited the fuse. I had it removed, changed the fuse and went home happy. Parked my bike and went of to bed. The next morning the same thing again, no horn, no light but the ignition works fine. So, I went again to the SVC and they said it is the distributor and battery problem, we are placing request to have it changed under warranty, we are reconnecting the cabled with direct channel temporarily and will replace parts in 24 hours. By this time I was very annoyed and went to the showroom and blasted the hell out of the sales guys there and also the PDC mechanic. Came home upset and disappointed, the lights and horn were working, I kept the bike on idle keeping it on stationary and was unlocking the driveway door lock. Hopped on and had just turned the handle left and just then, lights and horn went off with the bike still running. I suddenly realised it has got something to do with the handle turning to left side. Took a U turn and zoomed back to showroom, told the works manager to bring the electrical mechanic and I told him my observation and asked him to check front left. He thoroughly checked and found the horn wire exposed and coming in contact with front fork, this was in turn blowing off the fuse. After this, the works manager was looking for a way to escape from me and my blessings [emoji12] .

                              My point: observe every nook and detail to find the real issue. Changing the wrong spares may not solve the real problem.

                                Hello Xbhpians..
                                I have been trying for the best combinations of front and back air tyre pressure. I tried with 25-28, 25-30, 27-32, 28-29, and few others also but not felt very good... Den I read few other bike forums and found one for rc200 and rc390 and few of them suggested for 29-29 front and back..
                                I must say it is a very good tyre pressure setting..And one more thing, I am using Michelin 110/70 in the front and stock eurogrips 130/70 back..
