I'm in the same boat really.
It costs about 6K more than a Pulsar 180, both produce 17 BHP, and I dont see where the extra money goes.
But I would recommend starting a what bike thread.

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
Bike feels great so far! Covered 150km since yesterday. Headlights are crazy effective, unfortunately high beam points at the sky. Gotta sit with the bike and adjust it.Originally posted by xplod566 View PostCongrats brother.its an awesome bike and its a tad refined than NS.but you would love the night tours coz the headlights are just AAAAWWWWWWEEEESSSSSOOOOMMMMEEE [emoji5]

Thanks man!Originally posted by Sal View PostCongrats mate. But why would you change 2 NSs in consecutive years?
the first NS gave me too many issues, spent almost every weekend in the SVC, finally got fedup and sold it. The second one was great in every way, lots of improvement from first batch, sold this one due to financial difficulty.
This time I had actually booked a Duke 390 but last minute switched to the AS200 as I needed a more practical and cost effective bike. Young, carefree days are almost done, I'm in a serious relationship now and I'm about to move out of my parents house to a place of my own.
----consecutive posts auto-merged-----
Some small niggles - I took delivery really late last night, and the moment I rode off I felt like the handle bar was very stiff. Was even wondering if the coneset was a defective one. Handling at some speeds felt very weird.
Visited the SVC today and in the time I had a smoke, the guy loosened something with the handlebar setting, it feels better now but not 100℅, trade off being the bike makes a kinda thwack sound over humps and bumps.. Couldn't get anything further done coz all the mechs were super busy with a tide of weekend service bikes.. :/
Headlights are difficult to adjust without opening up the fairing! The projector has a rotary knob that's damn hard to turn, high beam has a screw kind of adjustment mechanism that's pretty hard to reach from below the fairing. Will have to open it up myself soon :/Last edited by neoakshay; 08-01-2015, 08:22 PM.A good rider has balance, judgment, and good timing. So does a good lover!

Hey mate, where in Bang did u purchase your bike from? Had been to Amba bajaj today, they were like clueless when i told em i need AS with MRF tyres! :/It's a lot like nuts and bolts - if the rider's nuts, the ride - bolts!

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
Guys. Have been following this thread for a while.
And after breaking my head since the time the AS200 has launched, I have decided to book my steed this weekend. Any tips as to what to check when taking delivery?
Coz I read somewhere in this thread that there is a possibility they'll give test drive bikes by reconnecting the console at the time of the delivery. So that got me worried.
Can anyone tell me what all to check ? And, can I get MRF tires on it from Kalyani bajaj, Mekri circle, Bangalore?
Any help will be appreciated.
Also, met a NS200 owner near my area. Sparked a conversation with him. He showed me a rust spot on a piece near the foot peg. I was shocked, since it was just a 7 month old bike.
Was wondering, has it happened to anyone else?

Don't think much.it happens with everybike.BTW buy from khivraj Kasturba.there is a possibility you might get mrf ones.however if mekhri circle says they have mrf or can manage mrf make sure u get it from them.I.e see the bike 1st with mrf and then give down payment .Originally posted by vishandy2k View PostGuys. And giving a test drive bike at least won't happen in Kasturba road for sure.that's why I insist you from taking them .

For what to check before delivery of bike, go through this :
100% satisfaction guaranteed on every domain we sell. 30-day, no questions asked, money-back guarantee. Easy, fast and convenient shopping.
Yes, MRF tyres are available for AS200 in Kalyani, the last time i had approached the manager there he had mentioned the same. Do ask and tell them to give you bike with MRF tyres only. It's a lot like nuts and bolts - if the rider's nuts, the ride - bolts!

Any other queries feel free to ask [emoji5]
