Thanks to all for the prompt reply.

Sorry for the off topic technical query...

      Bike Peak Torque
      Pulsar 200AS - 18.30 Nm @ 8000 rpm
      CBR 250R - 22.9 Nm @ 7000 rpm
      Pulsar 220 - 19.12 Nm @ 7000 rpm
      Karizma R - 19.35 Nm @ 6000 rpm
      RE TB 350 - 28 Nm @ 4,000 rpm

Does that mean Pulsar 220,Karizma R & Thunderbird 350 are much relaxed compared to 200NS/AS at 70-80km/hr, considering higher torque is generated at lesser RPM,despite the absence of a 6th gear.
Does this also mean more life to the engine (as they are less strained) and better fuel efficiency as well?

I just completed 250 kms and gears geel loke they are stuck. They feel smooth only after 4k rpm.

Will it improve after 1st service ?

Nothing like that.yes rpm is a factor but it won't be determined by just comparing numbers.I feel its very relaxed if not second on the list with CBR on the top

Ya that's the one.it doesn't hold on handle bar as its splitbhandlbar but i kept in rear view mirror because that's the only place it can be .but it holds extremely tight and very good

                      Hehe thanks bro.
I went to Kanapkura in some treking camp.place was aweosme
Total kms were 178 up and down.it wasn't far but that road is pretty good via NIICE road.
The bike feels so different on highways.its like it has some extra power in it the moment u release the throttle.also its pretty stable and the cornering is good on this bike.it was totally a different riding experience and I thoroly enjoyed it.I am still to calculate the mileage but I filled for 400 RS fuel and its still 218 kms on ODO with 1-2 bars flickering

The answer to your question is YES
More torque at less RPM benefits
                        1. Less Heat
                        2. Less Engine workload
                        3. Better mileage
                        4. More comfort
                        5. Less sound and smoke
                        6. Improved NVH finally

Now what is so different here is, with 6th gear, besides producing torque at higher RPM, new Pulsars can cruise almost at same rpm level if not exact. Say P220 @ 5000 rpm in 5th gear runs @ 80, where as a 200NS might take 5200 rpm to do 80 in 6th gear. Also because it spins 1000 rpms more, it still can produce almost equal amount of twisting force besides having 20cc less. Now the liquid cooling and exhaust fan comes to solve this part. Extracting more juice from a smaller engine will make it so hot sooner. On contrary, see RE350 bikes. It does not rev and run faster, hence engine will heat very less compared, so besides having huge CC, it does not need a cooling system.

But this is all true for 60-80. Things suddenly will start to change above that for all competing bikes here. At 110-120, none will stand close by. And 200NS\AS\RS are capable of cruising all day at such speeds without engine losing it's life.

Final words: If you like cruising, get a motorbike which has good amount of torque. RE is a good cruiser upto 80 kph. Beyond that, they are not trusted for handling. Mojo is another example. But no idea how it is

Yes bro. I too love RE for it's torque ride which is a bliss to ride. You will feel like flying along. But the problem starts post 80. Me and my friend (He owns a CL350) did a 140 Km (up\down) trip on a two month old bikes. He tried to push as harder as possible. To me, 80-90 kph was just nothing, but to him, 90 itself was kind of scaring. After the end of the ride, he said "My bike is all good and under control with less vibrations only up to 80 kph, beyond that till 90 kph it was manageable barely and 100 kph is just impossible and extremely scary. This is from an RE lover

It was so harder for me to keep under 90-80 kph speeds as I usually do 95-110 kph on average.
