FS oil provides good performance, engine smoothness n minimizes hard gear shifts

    or

Just stick to motul semi synthetic oil one provided by svc. Theres no harm.
    Oil change interval 1.5-2k kms

    Its simple.
Ride safe n use proper gears.
thanks for your suggestion bro 😊

Get the Suzuki Gixxer cover from spareparts. The front part of the cover will not behave properly if you have fairing mirrors on, but thats fine its not a big deal.

          • I want to do a Matte Black Body wrap for my Gixxer SF

            Hi Everyone,

As the subject says I want to do the complete body wrap for my bike and at present I live in Hyderabad. Do anyone know where it can be done at some good reason prices?

Yesterday when I asked in Koti some shops said it will cost 3000/- but in some other shops if i get the matte black sheet then it might cost 1500/- for them to keep it on my bike and then the total cost might be 2100. So I dont know where I can get a good one. Any hyderabadi's can help me on this. I want it around 1000-2000 at max that's it.

            Thanks,
            Prahasit

              Hi guys..

I own a gixxer sf fi variant.. Today after riding for about 75kms in heavy rain i am getting a continuous annoying beeeeeeeeeep sound from my bike when the ignition is on. What might be possible reason for this sound? Is there anything to be worried of?

Is the beep sound coming when the fuel pump primes, when you turn on the ignition, or inside of the tank?

                Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                THE END

It kicks in when i turn on the ignition, definitely not from inside the tank.

Try posting a small video if possible. In FI variants, when you turn the ignition, the fuel pump buzzes and primes that's about it. If you've installed some buzzer or something then you'd have to check your buzzer. When ignition is turned on, no sounds sounds, apart from fuel pump should be heard, probably in the range of 3 to 4 second max.

                    Cheers!

Its not the sound of fuel pump buzzing. Its kind of a continuous long beep that is persistant. I have installed buzzer for indicators. Will check on that tommorow.

Not sure if this will help but check it out anyway. In my Activa I used to have the same sound from my sidestand after a powerwash. I am not sure till now if there is any kind of safety sensor attached to the side stand that gives this whistling sound.

Try localizing the sound. Where exactly is it coming from? The Instrument Cluster, switchgear, "sidestand"?

Check for indicator buzzer , i too had the same issue when i left the bike on heavy rain. Buzzer could be the culprit here , i think it must have short circuited due to rain.

I also noticed the beep sound which comes from under the seat after every time I washes my bike. No issue with side stand.

Checked with the service centre today. They told me that since i have ridden the bike in heavy rain, water is the culprit here and its common with the bikes. The sound will go away as we ride in sunlight and clock kms.
By the way, the sound is still there and is ringing in my ears even now. Hope it goes away soon.

                                Thank you guys.
