Also, I've found no difference in the engine(performance and vibration vise) except that the sound of the new engine is quite low.
Even though many people have said that the resonance vibration is absent in the new GS, I don't feel like it, my old GS resonated at 3.7 and the new GS resonates at 4.0
Yesterday i completed 4000 odo kms ( 2months & 2 services completed), just had a short bust of 190 kms , with 83 kph average speed and max at 95 kph on Mumbai Nasik highway . its extremely stable at this speed and can go all day at this speed, except for tingling vibes above 4K at right side till 6.5 K, hope these will vanish subsequently after couple of services.
As engine has not been under gone any changes sound may be same ( i feel new engine gruntier and screeming at high speeds compared to older one while have road test), resonanace vibes remain, but quality is improved a lot , infact its best quality machine in 150 cc category and price band.

Yes its risky...but the mechanics know better than us....hence i gave it to my mech.....

Yes the vibes will be gone as the engine settles down gradually.....and NH3 as usual is bliss for such runs!!!!!

If thats so simple , suzuki should start 'do it yourself ' classes , my loyal & experienced mechanic warned of ill effects after such changes.

Its so stupid , countries commercial capital Mumbai doesn't have certain products where its available everywhere, is this fuel expensive.

                • Just collected my bike after the first service, and i noticed this. Glad to see that the dealer is showing some interest to promote this bike.

Nice...In my area I was the first one to get a GSR...I have worked with my dealer in promoting the bike by doing road shows & displaying the bikes at public areas...That helped alot...now there are many GS150R's on road now....Suzuki highly relie on the owners & public to promote their products...Thats what they are trying to with 'APNA WAY OF LIFE' motto.

                    • Got the Apre RR

                      Friends, Please confirm...

Is that extra 2 wires in RED is for ammeter right ?

i have already fixed an ammeter in my bike. so i will connect this to ammeter, if that wire is for ammeter...

                      • You bought new APE's RR which has an inbuilt battery monitoring system.(Red wire with yellow stripe
                        )
Just connect the usual gray wires to AC and the yellow to +ve and black to body/-ve and check if it works.

I have never personally checked the new RR but I don't recommend any of you to get this.
Insist on the old type,It is tried and tested by many.

EDIT: Is that original ? I don't see the the cover to be original.
A faulty RR can blow your entire electricals including the digi-meter.

                          Shoeb2015,
I am using the same type Ape’s RR for a number of months in my bike without any problem. The old type RR is not readily or easily available with their dealers now.
Please explain what the fault of the new RR is and why you are insisting to use the old one.

i can't find, its original or duplicate. But the shop keeper gave this first. When I asked for the RR which is not having that red wire, he showed another RR and told that was a duplicate. So i bought this. It is not having peagio name. but its having greaves cotton name. He told that greaves is manufacturing spares for all the tricycle like ape, bajaj, mahendra etc. So I thought, it is like TATA motors who is providing spares for fiat cars. ...
I asked with an ape mechanic, and he told its a original one.

Any how, before giving connection, I will test it with multimeter and then only I will give.

                              Find the attached pic.

This is a typical LED circuit. Here R is the resister which is connected in series. Anode Cathode is the LED itself. The arrow mark shows the flow of current. Also refer the GS150R wiring diagram for color codes.

                              And, I assume the following.
                              • A similar kind of circuit would be present in our GSR console for Blue light LED.
                              • + line is fed with orange wire that goes to the console.
                              • - line is fed with the yellow wire that carries the AC current as in stock setup. Here I think, this AC line would act as a line for circuit completion for making the LED to glow.
                              • While converting to DC, the yellow wire is fed with pure DC current which is also the +ve line. Since both the terminals are fed with +ve voltage, Blue LED not glowing.

This is my solution if above is the correct problem:
                              • A diode typically restricts the flow of current in one direction and allows in the other direction.
                              • So, a diode can be used in series in the above circuit, in the -ve terminal of the circuit.
                              • In this setup, the flow of positive voltage is blocked and the current flow from other side of the circuit (+ve side) is allowed by the diode.
                              • As per the DC Conversion, yellow wire is connected to -ve terminal of the LED circuit, after that a diode can be placed which will block this +ve voltage entering into the -ve side of the circuit.

Conclusion is: With the help of a diode, the Blue LED circuit can be completed and will glow in DC setup..

                              Your suggestions are welcome...
Friends, this method is not working... Today i tried and ended in vain.
