    sure

Btw, I took test drive of GS150 at Aryan Suzuki, Domlur, Bangalore. But it was too difficult to shift gears. I mean, real tough. I guess something was wrong with that particular bike. Because nobody here complains abt that tight gears. I was actually worried about its weight before test riding. I'm 5.7 and 52 Kg. But to be frank, i didnt feel any weight during riding. The ride was too short & that too through some narrow crowded roads. I couldn't try 5th and 6th gear. I'm trusting your experience and planning to go ahead with GS. I hope its a wise choice

Gears will be little hard in the new bike and it's normal., After 1st service(in terms of kms) you'll feel entirely different., In my case I wasn't able to use toe shifting till my 2nd service ., After 2nd servicing the bike is different and FYI I'm using only the toe shifting thereafter., And weight will not be problem , it depends mainly on the rider how he maneuvers., Only while pulling back from a sloped parking you'll feel the weight.,,

Black will suit all the bikes.. When you're asking colour, white looks gorgeous and so the greenish blue.. IMO the earlier candy max orange was more appealing than the present one.. Try it at another showroom, look at it ,feel it and select it.. It'll be better..

Welcome to GS world , white looks slicker with thos vermilon & mesh grey(carbon fibre) strips ,this bike is gem of technology that can be offered in this catagory and sure to make you smile for years , value for money, good FE(best as per my experience 55 +), comforts( long rides), safety (balanced due to weight).
Yesterday changed oil with Motul , engine is smoother compared to stock oil and elf moto , buts gears are little notchy yet , elf had too smooth operation, almost flawless but failed on engine response.

                  • My search started with a used 220, since its pretty much the best option for 2-up touring. However finding a good one at a good price was getting quite difficult. Finally thought of picking up a new 150 cc bike at a slightly higher cost than a used 220. Narrowed it down between the dazzler and the GS. The Honda showroom did not even have a bike for display forget a test ride. Neither were they offering my choice of colour. walked out and headed strt to the Suzuki showroom. The looks was never an issue. I had ridden the bike before but needed to ride it again just to make sure. The sales guy was courteous and managed to get me a test ride.

Pretty much the most comfortable riding position, supremely comfortable seats got me hooked immediately. Then there was the creamy power delivery which just made my decision even stronger. Amazing display with gear indicators for tht brilliant 6-speed box, perfect for touring. Even the heavy 149 kg kerb wt mean stability on the highways and less prone to cross winds.

Booked it there itself..awaiting delivery on saturday

How can us compare a 135 cc and 150 cc bike?

Your mind is oscillating between Pulsar 135 and 150, Discover 150, FZ, Impulse and GS150R for the last few months. GS offers a neat mileage, comfortable long rides and trouble free engine. If you like to ride in high speeds, this bike reaches 117.5 kmh at 8500 rpm in 6th gear and is with factory fitted dual horns.

Test ride all these bikes for a longer distance and decide yourself.
Here is a good review of GS150R.

                      • I want to do the periodic service by myself.(change oil, oil filter, lubing as per manual).
I have read many times on this forum that many have been doing so and have sourced out a SVC where they give the service coupons.

May i request all from Bangalore where i can submit my service coupon and ask them to have a log that i completed the service.Just to be eligible for the warranty.
Bit hesitant to ask at SVC .

Just need the list of SVCs who are taking the coupons as above.
Apple auto(BSK & BTM), Aryan(Thubarahalli and Domlur) are preferred.

If the info cannot be posted here, please leave a message for me

                        Thanks a lot.
