    • I had parked my bike in the parking lot of a mall last night and I lifted the seat to remove the helmet from its holder, I saw a little rat under the seat which jumped out suddenly. On inspection this morning, I saw that the cladding of one of the wires has been chewed. For now, just wrapped the wire with insulation tape.

My personal experience is that Sirac is very good tyre but not suitable for GS150. Its super sticky nature makes vibrations at foot pegs & sound in chain areas. Better go for Zapper Q 100/90 28, if you need some more stability & style go fpr 110/90 18.

I found that changing gears using Heel to be a little out of reach. So, I changed the gearshift angle higher towards the heel but find the Gearshifting becomes extremely noisy and hard then. So I had to revert back to the old setting.

I think the connecting-rod from the Gear shifting lever to the Gear-crank has to be a little longer to make Gear-shifting smooth and easily accessible.

It is possible if you have enough money to spend. But the stock rear brake is giving enough biting and excess biting causes skidding and accident. Consult a good mechanic not greedy for money.
And, please avoid SMS language. You are saving one or two letters per word but it is irritating and is against forum rules.

I think some person over here has added a rear disc brake. Can't remember who though. It cost him about 10,000 I remember. Did a quick search but couldn't find it.

But, I feel you really don't need a disc brake. Use a combination of front disc and rear drum brakes to get the best results.

Welcome and congrates for your new possession, change gears at recommend speeds ,i usually down shift from 3-2 at 20 kmh / 2000 rpm, it will smoothen out eventually as time passes
Am happy with stock tyres so cannot comment or recommend , may be while replacing worn out tyres will think about it.
Do we really require disk brake , GS has good rear brake which is sufficicent.

Manual suggest , high pressure air on outer side to puff the dust accumulated from inside. paper or non wooven fabrics should not be washed wit water or solvents. dust will stick to it or merge in th pores making it restrictive to air flow. best way is to change it after recommended period say 12000 kms

                        • This discussion is fizzling out ... where are you Mr Firegun , i agree with punarvasu its difficult to install belt drive kit( if available as direct fit) on our own unless some custom manufacturing company takes up , if modification cost is not too high this should justify the convenience.
This is worth than what most of people try to modify like fitting expensive air filters , sparkplugs, tyres , though they offer direct fit , but arent people attempting to install rear wheel disk brake either which too is unnecessary.
