My actual prob. is that I want to fill gas from the same IO bunk. Its big, 7 pumps, onsite shop having the only Campco FunTan bar in my area...dont want to fill at any other pump.

Oh boy, engine is gruff when GS is not as smooth as my 01 Nova 115 33K kms engine. That scoot is suffering from low acc, fractured body (vibs), teeth clattering susp., and 3 batt. bypass surgeries. But the engine is extremely smooth, 0 vibs, zooms from 60 - 75 (max), lethargic at any other lower speeds (it was opp. during 1st 3 yrs)
Wonder what will GS engine be like by then GS really rocks at certain times

It became harsh after filling Speed. But then had filled it at a desolate 2 pump bunk, small, unpaved ground and meant to be pump for local pvt. buses. Also in my place only HP,IO n Reliance have satisfactory infrastructure .
But then, cant miss the FunTan

But since its about cooling oil and a jet, isn't there a principle, that when any fluid passes through a nozzle at high velocities, it simultaneously cools and also pressure reduces ie. expands. Former is good here, latter may not

Why not mail the suzka tech. out there 4 info Will try to check it out,of course after a FunTan fill

How about this cool stick on our GS
Sure that will make a cool sticker. As Guru said, Suzuki should learn from HH.
Any idea how to get those stickers made?

Take a printout of this to a sticker shop guy. He will scan it&print it&make a sticker for you in your choice of color! I don't think it should cost more than Rs.100.

Good idea, but that image is too grainy and contains unwanted stuff. One ought to redo it, maintaining the colour scheme and font layout. Any whizkids here who can make an image like that for the service of the community?

              • LOGO for GS

Guys...the logo of SACS is cool...but I feel it looks a bit old fashioned.... doesn't it??
well only my personal opinion though....no offences...

Guys I feel we could design our own XBHP forum kind of logo especiaaly for the GS....well not clear what it would be...just a hunch...
so that...we could all have the same logo and feel one....

Some kind of logo which combines the XBHP and GS....I am not much creative in this type...prob some people with creative streak can help....

                Any brilliant ideas are welcome.....

                    • Hey buddies, new rapid development for me. Me moving to Chennai for work. Taking GS as luggage on same train hopefully. Do we have to drain out entire petrol tank. Also any experience about mishandling of bike by workers.
Nway tom. gotta go to SC, my tacho not yet replaced (its tom. or never), give it to station workers for packaging by 1 PM, buy stuff...As my lap is gone kaput (home PC now), my only way of coming here is via office PC, provided xBhp is not blocked .
So till then, its Amitine signing off from cool cruising/cursing Cochin roads...onto the hot smooth/smelly Chennai roads. Apde macha

                      • Make sure you pull out the petrol pipe and seal it, preferably with some sign of someone at station master's office. I have heard a few cases where they put petrol in the bike somehow, and then show it to you at the end station and charge you some fine.

That would be nice. I guess there wouldn't be any copyright violation in this exercise.

Can you mention what is the context? I'd rather leave the rear and maintain pressure at the front!

                              • Hello Guys,
I had gone to SVC in Pune (SWARGATE) to give my bike for 1st First service. The SVC guy suggested that i buy petrol additives and oil additives which are in the form of small pellets or balls. He said that these will help in removing carbon in the engine as well as improve mileage.......he also said that these are recommended by the company.......they are charging me 130 + 65 = 195 bucks........he said that they will add them in front of me when i go to get the delivery of my bike..........should i buy them ?
Also does anyone know the prices of clutch and accelerator cables for GS as i am planing to buy them from SVC today......reason being i am planning for some long trips outside city......had read IMJoshee's experience of his bike's clutch cable snapping up so want to be safe.....
