Mileage

Hi friends,

First of all thanks for helping me taking right decision to buy this bike.But i am continuously checking the mileage of this bike and its hardly giving me 40 kmpl whether its eco or power mode.can anyone suggest me what to do to increase the mileage.As i have done all the tips whatever suggested here but still same.

Can anyone suggest me what to do...?

and have u ppl noted these strange features like left front disk & speedo connectedto rear wheel !!!! any specific advantage behind it ?

wait for around 400km or so and check again.
if its still low you can complain to the SC ppl. try different bunks to make sure the bunk isnt cheating you.
i had the same problem. for 300km i was getting 35-40, and when i went to the SC to complain, they took it for mileage test and it gave 55. it was annoying.

and you wont find difference in mileage when you ride in eco or pwr mode.


If u find out what that mikuni conponent on top of the engine is, then tell me too. it has some pipe going into the front of engine too.

I did not get the part where you said don't press the clutch when decelerating.So it means when i want to stop the bike their is no need to press the cluthch.

Last week I again visited to SUZUKI showroom & talked with showroom manager about 3.5 k vibs...
He told not to worry @ it ...keep driving the bike ..it will reduce with the time.

Any Solution for the mileage issue?????????

Hi yes me too got mileage issue , and Mr vinod natarajan spoke to me i also told about you,He told me that bcos of peak traffic ur bike mileage is suffering,He told me to check CO,bcos more CO means more fuel into the carburator,CO testing is not avail here ,but my SC mechanic called me And fine tuned for mileage I m checking now will update soon,before 3rd service it is 45Kmpl after it is less than 40kmpl,the Sc adjusted the RPM to 1500 for idle now corrected to 1000RPM and adjust air-fuel ratio, Let me see other wise i have to take the bike to pondy 140Km from here after rain is over,
Pls keep update me abt ur bike to share what is done to improve mileage,My no is 9842404365,
Ps-The SC guy in pondy told me That to check it by full tank ,then ride for say 100 to 150km then fill again,If it so how others checking and reported the mileage 50+,he told me there is so many hidden area in tanks, it is filled with our petrol and not used....?????????
Means he trying to tell me flaw in tank design,He also told me more thn 500 bike sold in pondy all of them getting 55kmpl atleast, if so all of them checkng mileage tank full then ride 100-150km and fill again........?????????

Hi Dude check the below link. Right side of this u will find the live camera area. u have drop down menu to change the area(camera) as well.. then one more thing they wont telecast live video. But the video will be delayed by 1 or 2 hour. Then the traffic based on area is live u can check this in map. I use this link daily to avoid much travel in traffic areas..
