Also can any one tell me how to a good down shift of gears.
Yes, keeping RPM below 5k is good for initial running-in. Occasional burst to higher RPMs can be done, but the bike should NOT be kept for long at the higher RPM.

Technically, by viewing the chart of the torque vs speed, one can tell when to upshift ot downshift the gears. You can see some gear ratios "merge" at some RPM band.

But, practically, as a biker for the past 10 years, I can tell , it comes only by "feel". Hope you understand what that "feel" means. You cannot see the tachometer all the time while shifting on a busy road. Of course, it is very dangerous too. So, try to learn by experience and you will master the gear shifting.

No. It will be with the design engineers of Suzuki. I just gave you an idea that "such a chart exists". For a common rider, it is of little use.

I do not know, whether you are an engineer, the chart is available as a general guideline in Automobile Engg. books .eg., Automobile Engg., by Kirpal Singh.

atleat your engine stays smooth for 400km after oil change
mine was rough right from the day i got it from servicing.
and when i showed it to those SC people the took it for a ride and said there's no defect.
anyway, atleast the roughness is only sound related and there's no vibrations.

whenever i give my bike for servicing the mileage seems to reduce to 40 for around 200-300km !!
after first service this happened and after 300km it came back to 50-55.
now i got my bike from 2nd service and the mileage is come back to 40 again.
has anyone else experienced this ??
