for ex. sam has done 2000 kms and tested max speed of bike a long time back, which means he has got his second servicing long before 3500 kms.
So wanted to know whether the manual is correct or the information which i have read on xbhp?
And if the manual is correct, should i change the engine oil? Engine feels heavily stressed.
When was the first service done? Was the oil changed then?

hii boss... 1st service was done around 650 kms down and oil was changed at that time.. it became very smooth after that. This new problem is there for past 2-3 days only. The engine is gettin heavier with every ride.
I like to meditate a lot.. On my BIKE!

Get the oil checked. It shouldn't get spoilt so easily. My Fiero F2's 1st Service was at 1000kms.(1 month), next at 5000kms(3-4 months). directly. It never showed any sign of deterioration.
There could be something else wrong IMO.

Take your bike to the SC and tell the guys to rectify the problems.. they should do it as part of problems post service without any charge.... if you find that the engine oil level is down and/or the oil got damaged, change the oil too... but don't do the second service yet. If the SC guys decline to change oil without going for second service, get it done outside.

          • could it be that alkemyst's oil is not pure or adulterated ?

            • A Suzuki service center in Bangalore city cannot possibly do such a thing... but cannot deny the possibility either. For now it is simple, if the oil needs change, change it. What ever other problems have appeared need to be addressed by the SC.

I know it is a very good bike&I have a special attachment towards it because it is the newer version of the Fiero F2, which I have since the last 5 years.
I will take a decision on GS based on the Ninja launch&the R15 performance kit in June.

                            • I can imagine how good GS150 is as I have a Suzuki Fiero 2000 model. This is my first and only bike. It is a great maintenance free bike. The only part I had to replace was the clutch plate, that too recently.

I hope Suzuki will provide great after sales service.
