however, its none of my business but still i am curious to know the second hand value of R15.. so can you tell me wat deal you got for ur oldie?

Guys what the difference b/w LED & ordinary bulb?? Has anyone touched the bikes top speed??? i have touched a maximun of 90km/hr.....no vibs

Well, I dont own a GS 150R but as am with a Suzuki Dealer so I happen to ride GS 150R quite often.
Last evening I took the GS for a short spin and I tried to see the best and the worst of it.
My observations are:
No doubt its butter smooth even in comparison to Hondas( I own a 2007 Zma with 35k on Odo)
the low end is good, six speed definitely smoothens the ride to a great extent.
The acceleration was Decent enough, not mind blowing.
Braking was good, no issues with a rear Brakes.
Top Speed thus attained was 114 on the speedo. the 0-80 was good, 80-95 was decent. 95-100 was sluggish and it took ages to cross the three figures, 114 was attained after ages.
seating was more comfortable in comparison to Zma,and the bike was a Darling to take to cornors, loved those foot peg scrapping turns.

all in all, it is a good 150ccbike for 60k.

so whats the ownership count at now ? i believe there was a running count that was being maintained. any official sales numbers / figures from suzuki. would really help to get an idea of how this bike is moving.

full tank

Finished 1550km on odo fill the tank to full before 360km,after 360km only one bar reduced from full.....
as imjoshee told "Walk down to a HH spares shop and buy the bulb. Make sure it is Philips & is made in Germany. It costs Rs 95 there. With Honda I think it costs Rs 160!!!"
I went to honda show room and ask for orginal bulb for honda unicorn, he showed me osram 12 35/35 when i ask for philips made in germany original spare,he told that bulb come only with bike,if u want spares then they give osram only .... so disappointed, How is osram bulb 12w 35 /35????

I too wanna change headlight. Philips made in Germany is good ? I also wanna know can we change those side lamps ? I would like to put there white lamps. Will those be LEDs or some other type ?

guys do you think coil rewinding may do the work?
i mean generally people do coil rewinding ..... addition with new rectifier n some more things
and then people add 55W/60W bulb and dual horns
gs does not need the latter part

but surely i think it would void warranty thou

even after all that........ the reflectors might not be able to take the toll

i dont like the suzuki attitude man
if you ask anyone on website...... i mean honda , yamaha , bajaj
they reply either by phone or email
but suzuki has no time to do it

and we talk about dealerships spoiling the name of the company

it will be LED AFAIK.. i remember reading it somewhere on apache rtr thread.. or maybe in LET THERE BE LIGHT thread.. some guy made this whole setup with few white LEDs for his bike and he gave a picture by picture demo of HOW TO in tht thread..

you, me, devilpulsarian and few others in IBC confused him in the last min and he finally ended up buying cbz

But i seriously wanted him to buy GS150R so tht we all can test it

osram is a good company
zma owners use osram mostly i think i mean the 55/60W version
but which model you talking about?
which osram are you talking about?
osram has different model like nightbreaker, etc
ask him and then ask in the light thread about it
