I mainatined steadily most of the time in 70-75KMPH while driving from mumbai-HYD, I got reserve from full tank some where around @840 KM's. I think If you maintain 80 then also you will get 800 Km's from full tank to empty in worst scenario.

I think it is possible with maintaining RPM range strictly while break-in.

All the best and do a test ride then confirm your doubts regarding riding comfort.
840 is big man! How did you do your run-in? Very strict RPM maintenance? For FE, engine oil and tyre pressure are very important too.

Even if you get 50 kml, you can reach 800 kms without fully emptying the tank as you can easily fill 18 litres in it.

Here is the answer for it. Anyway, do a test ride as pavan cin said.
Hey you got the ultimate FE man So with proper maintenance and sane riding, these magical numbers are possible I suppose. And thanks for the link.

Isnt the company claimed tank capacity is 15? I read in a review that its actually 15 + 3.5 in reserve + .5 unusable = 19 liters in total. Is that true?

Also, whatever reviews that I have read so far always seem to blame the SVC guys. For Bajaj there is always AutoService. Is there such a good SVC here at Bangalore? Otherwise, it will be tough to keep the bike in top shape.

Will do a TD soon for the comfort and update. I am almost sold for this bike. But still need the opinion and green signal from few people.

No, It has tank capacity of 15.5L in all i.e. including 3.5L of reserve...

After much research and review by owner, I am also gonna buy this bike very soon...

The main issue with GS is SVC... else its best bike in 150cc segment.

Is there anything that can be done to reduce this pillion seat height a bit?

Suzuki has 6 dealers in Bangalore. In any case, buy the bike from an authorized dealer; not from a sub-dealer.

It is not so. Firegun has achieved better FE and I think it is due to his riding habits and the condition of the road he travels. The road may be good enough to minimize gear shifting and braking.
The capacity of the tank is 15.5 liters including the 3.1 litre reserve but I have filled 18.5 litres in it.
After the test drive, please post here your opinion about this bike, if you are for it or not.

By following the manual. Actually i rode my bike in ECO mode while break in(till 2000KM). there are occasional speed bursts up to 75KMPh for a little time say 1 minute.

Actually it is 15.5 litre and that is including the 3.1 litre in reserve and as per the company, it is approximate; not calibrated. (page 9-4 of the manual).

What you mean by un-usable? Is it for different purpose?

                    • I guess u r talking abt fuel left behind due to rised fuel pipe. Mostly tats not a technical work its just due to improper fitment.

A little petrol in the tank is left unusable as it contains water, dust or other such impurities. It is purposively left there; not due to improper fitting.

I bought it through amazon.com and had it shipped to my friend in the us. They dont ship certain items to india. I got it when he came to india. So in case you have someone in the states, you can buy it. You can also try ebay. Good luck. Raj

I am 6 feet and 3 inches the bike so comfortable for me.It even looks good for such tall people.Coming to rear seat its a bit high comparing other bikes in its category, but not in a away that your mom or other elders might find it difficult. It should be a good buy.

Logically I never doubted that.........that white bike looked good but was not much of a refresh........however, I really want white panels and tank like that for my own bike.
