Hey, did you test ride the new bike ?Originally posted by vishnukmd View PostNo changes in lights and reflectors. But the bike is well refined. The engine sound and the initial pickup have notably changed. The infamous roaring sound is almost over. The graphics are more attractive. The changes in the headlight cowling and visor give the looks of a lighter, smaller bike. The overall changes are satisfactory.
I really appreciate the changes in the design and performance of the bike. But the difference in performance is not new. The engine of the last batches of the bike is more refined than the old ones.
Any idea what the changes in the engine are that causes the difference in performance ?
I guess the new ones have to comply to BS4 regulations so they might have made changes in air filter design, that would have caused a difference in sound as well.
But if its not any major change, then we could also get those parts and add it to our bikes.
Buddy, the eco and power mode are JUST rpm indications which tell you when to change gears, nothing related to the performance of the bike.Originally posted by gmagesh14 View PostThis showroom people dont know anything about GS150r.. Source: Me, i've been riding GS for 2 years and have tried out all three modes quite a few times, same mileage same performance, probably a different psychological feel.

all the very best for your bike bro! i am sure it will drive you crazy!Originally posted by gmagesh14 View PostThis showroom people dont know anything about GS150r.. bro..i had a gs 6 months back, rode it for 13000kms made some very very wrong mods which affected the performance and mileage of that beautiful machine! i regret it badly
then i bought a pulsar 220 !
though i liked its power, i did not like its refinement and gear shiftings since i had a GS before i know about the smoothness and refinement levels of a Suzuki which is unmatchable even by honda ! yes i mean it..!
i learnt a tough lesson, and now now am gonna book a white gs NEXT WEEK !
and just worried as my friends said that white color will easily fade and will need a lot of maintainance! so confused about the color !
Biking is in my Blood!!

Since this is the first time the white coloured bike is being launched, I would give a chance to suzuki before making such a statement. Personally I think it doesn't matter which colour the bike is as far as maintainance is concerned. IMO other colours require more maintainance because the have black parts which would produce better contrast and highlight the brown dirt.Originally posted by SriKi.GSpian View Postmy friends said that white color will easily fade and will need a lot of maintainance! so confused about the color !

But then its all subjective
Buy what your heart wants without other worries.

u need not to worry about its color bro, every color has its pro/con's. I hope u have seen Apache Pearl White In flash,it looks amazing, isn't it?? but at the same time u need to keep those grease/oil stains away from ur ride.Dust wont be that much visible as in black Give her a regular wash and it would be as goodlooking as any other colored bike.Originally posted by SriKi.GSpian View Postjust worried as my friends said that white color will easily fade and will need a lot of maintainance! so confused about the color !

IMO scratches are less visible in grey/white body paint as compared to Black paint

Please somebody clarify me..
I read somewhere in forum, may be here or in other forums.,that the fuel injected into the engine will vary based on the mode selected... Is it so?
