If the head lamp of the current GS is good, we may think of modifying the entire head lamp assembly with the doom to the newer model.

If anyone has a chance to check the lights of both versions together, please update the same.

    Thank you.
No change in the lighting performance in newer model.. Though I had adjusted the focus., it helps a bit to travel at nt..
You have to rely on external modification only..

I need to increase the brightness of the light. I travel 100 KM per day with 50 Kms after 11 PM.

I lose my confidence when I drive at nights because of the Dim light.

Since you have both the old and new model gs150r at home, i guess you can give us more details. Other than the new front cowl and side panels, are there any other changes in the new model? What is the battery Ah rating on the new bike?

          7Ah.
Just like the older model. No change in the reflector or the bulb. No electrical changes.

have you drunken any time at least once,
some drinks aee smooth in the starting but after an hour it ill became bad.

some other type / brand drinks doesn't be smooth at start but you will feel its goodfeel after sometime only.

and theee are few drinks that is smooth from start to en but that is more harmfull.

hey am just giving an example the same thing is applicable in engine oils too.

note drinking liquor is injurious to health.

                        • The service center in my city(Calicut) for Suzuki sucks... they seem to be obsessed with selling me wax coating and whatnot, meanwhile they've also sold enough bikes to have service bookings of 1-2 weeks. Last time after service the instrument panel was loose and I had to wait till the next service to get it fixed coz they were too busy to attend to it without prior "appointment". They really need to open up more service centers considering the popularity of the gs instead of just selling bikes and ignoring the existing customers

I've also seen some complaints from others in this thread about the quality of service... is it the same elsewhere too?

On the plus side the bike works as its supposed to and hasn't had any major problems yet.

not at all happy with the response i received from jav suzuki chennai..is it wrong if a customer goes to the show room 4 or 5 times to clarify his doubts regarding loan matters..today i entered the showroom after giving my mom's access for service but for the past 2 times i have been noticing that the showroom people start laughing at me as if am a fool..today i got irritated and could not bear it..i asked them to cancel my booking and they said out of 1000rs. , 150rs. will be deducted for cancellation charges..that was very unfair! how they charge me rs.150 from that??is there anything called cancellation charge? and it was through cheque(rs.850)..after returning home my dad saw the cheque and said that the showroom owner has given the cheque dated 29/10/2011,whereas today's date is 27/10/2011 and he did not even inform me regarding this! here is it's address!

Buy a good car shampoo and carnauba wax (many good products such as ArmorAll, Turtle, Mothers, Meguiars, Formula 1, Collinite and many more are available in the market) and do the washing and waxing yourself. I am using ArmorAll Wash & Wax and ArmorAll Wax & Polish.

The instrument panel of our bike is fitted on rubber bushes and that is why it is vibrating. Hence its tightening is unnecessary.

Either find out another service centre or try to do the usual maintenance works such as oil and oil filter change, air filter cleaning, lubing etc yourself.

As in the case of Magesh, Chiron, many others and you, some dealers or the employees there are spoiling their reputation. The most pathetic part is that most of the sales men know nothing about the bike.

A customer may have many doubts to be cleared about the product or the conditions of the loan they arrange and clearing them is the primary duty of the sales personals.

The best thing we can do is keeping away from them. (What else can we do?) Due to this single incident, the dealer is losing the sales commission and the monetary benefits he get through the future servicing and probable sales of spare parts of that bike. What you did is exactly correct; I think. Forget that 150. Consider it as a alms you gave to them.
