It seems everyone has missed a significant point highlighted by Vishnukmd or is it that I have only noticed it ???

The Gear ratios for the new Suzuki GS150R has been altered, any difference in performance would be due to that only.

Also heard that the new GS150R has a better rear braking.

No there isn't any diff in braking .. But the braking is not a let down in GS..
Had a lot of sharp brakings in heavy traffics in Chennai..

Engine refinement is better than old GS..
The new exhaust sound gives the feel of a powerful bike...
No vibrations till 70kmph.. Don't know above 70.. Didn't cruised more than that continuosly.. Max I touched was 74kmph..
The fuel knob access is now became easy b'cos of the new side panel design..

      • Hi, I'm back after a long time to this forum.

My GS is running smoother as earlier. Now its covered 14.5K in 9 months time. Only thing that concerns me is its mileage. It is fluctuating every time. Before 3rd service I was getting 58-60KMPL. Then it reduced to 48-52. After the last service(7th), I'm getting 52 KMPL. But By seeing the POLL result, I think I'm getting a fair mileage.
(Last week, I touched 100KMPH, and it didn't vibrated.)

Till now I didn't made any changes except Oil and filter. In last service I asked them to check the tappet as my friend(a two wheeler mechanic) mentioned me to check it as the engine sound is different.

Is it true that the production of Dazzler is stopped? Some of those waiting for that bike are still wandering here.

          • So, torque is just a small bit lesser than 14 Nm now?

But saar, how can torque increase because of gearing? I was under the impression that torque is the rotational force at the crank, directly related to the force exerted on the piston during combustion.

Or do you mean that mechanical resistance in turning the crank has been reduced now?

+ Anyway, where did you get this information or how did you calculate it?

++ what resonance???? I dont feel any resonance on my bike.

I guess it's the anti-vibe resonance @3500 RPM he is talking about, during which you feel vibrations all of a sudden.

I am only 18 now and bought the bike for my brother 6 years back,so i was only 12 years when i saw a ZMA,And i was not allowed to ride a bike unless i get a LICENCE.I got licence about 8 or 9 months back and started riding bikes, even though i started to learn these before riding a bike.

Now i understand why he left.

Yes; if the old GS reaches 9,820 rpm and the new one 10,060 on road.
