What's wrong if I plan on purchasing some parts and keeping them with me on long rides. I used to carry cables, spare tubes, plugs etc on long journeys. Since they don't sell it outside, atleast they should make it readily available at SVC.Originally posted by Maestro View PostMulund SVC: refusal to sell spare parts separately (i hope this means if you buy spare parts from them then its the suzuki mechanic who fits them directly on your bike....and they wont sell the parts to me if i just want to buy them and want it to be fitted by myself or local mechanic........please correct me if i am wrong)Better late by 30 minutes than early by 30 years.

That may not be correct. Every customer has the right to select the bike he likes to buy, whether it is from Parel SC or anywhere else.Originally posted by Maestro View PostParel SVC: refusal to choose the bike from standing lot.
abdriver2000 may have misunderstood the words of the sales person. Confirm if before you try to bring it to the notice of Suzuki.
Originally posted by abdriver2000 View PostI am not sure, but I think I saw a battery icon on the display just like we have in cars. The display goes off when the bike is started and battery begins to charge.
No such display is there in GS.

You can easily buy the cables, spark plug etc from the SC. The restriction on sales is mainly on engine parts.

No yaar, there is no battery indicator in GS150R. I did this mod to find out how much amp the stock stator can produce as well as how quickly the battery is charging. And I also planned to rewind stator, so this will be useful for me to know the status of bike charging system.Originally posted by abdriver2000 View PostPardon my ignorance, but what is the purpose of this mod? I think the electronic indicator has a battery display to show in case the battery is not charging.
I'm very sure that this gonna help once i rewind the stator and change the hl to HID.

(i think u may be wrong abt Mulund (RIYA) suzuki...yesterday i went for 2nd servicing there, i had to wait atleast 15 mins for my bill to be paid as there was one customer who was buying chassis, mudgaurd and other stuff related to suzuki acess, which the customer took along with him.Originally posted by Maestro View PostMulund SVC: refusal to sell spare parts separately (i hope this means if you buy spare parts from them then its the suzuki mechanic who fits them directly on your bike....and they wont sell the parts to me if i just want to buy them and want it to be fitted by myself or local mechanic........please correct me if i am wrong)Last edited by Taurean; 02-19-2012, 12:41 PM.Sanjay

hmmm...........
The people from the country where it is sold,as GS150 has made it their hot favorite.
They only believe in Go and makes no hue about Show.........austerity is preferred in tough conditions.
Hence Suzuki markets the bike over there with the same engine and beefier torque gear ratios with minimal plastic bits so that it can last anything between broken roads and bomb blasts.Hell's Angel

Guys, I am just wondering, is there any way I can fit something like this:

To fit on our bike somewhere like this:

Any suggestions????
(I really need compass as I rely on my mapping skills to find destinations since I tend to forget landmarks but surely remember maps)

Instead of fixing too many or extra gadgets on the bike and relaying on them much often will distract your concentration from driving like how speaking / SMSing on mobile does.
the best and simple way is if you are not sure of the route to your destination, never hesitate to ask at least three or four people on the way to your destination
before starting a long trip journey i used to take a Google map hard copy of the route with me, and while traveling i ask the co passenger to check the map and tell the route, in case both are confused i will ask the people whom i met on the way to my destinationSarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity
Currently Using Gusto |Enfield Bullet 500 | Ecosport Titanium+ Diesel

Today morning while cleaning the bike, I pulled off a part of an electrical circuit(I think) which lies in between the right side of the swingarm and the right pillion footrest mount. I dont notice any effects because of this but I pulled it quite hard. What is this part?In today's world, quotes don't matter. Quotas do!
