Worse, every time I leave a safe distance with the vehicle in front of me, another car/bike "cuts" and takes away that gap. I used to enjoy my rides on OMR to office but not much anymore unless it is virtually free.
Are you planning to add (retrofit) ABS to your Hornet from the 2018 version? Edit: Oh no, yours is CBS no?
Exactly the situation in current traffic. If I follow the rule I would have to wait for 15 minutes on DLF Gachibowli, Hyderabad crossing. If I leave proper space leave bikers, car will make a way to fit.

In CBS, Rear and front are connected via a overload-protect and delay valves, caliper in front (ABS) is 2-pot, wiring harness is different, etc. One also needs to mount a pulsar disc and mounting for pulsar disc sensor is not present in non-ABS version. Add to that, I don't think the chassis for non-ABS vehicle will have mounts for ABS control unit/modulator.
Yes. it's Combi break, (CBS). So no ABS for me.

haha.. I am sticking with my 1st generation Hornet.
Yes, TVS zepplin cruiser seems interesting. Will check it out after 6 month of launch.
I have high hopes from TVS but latest Akula 310 is not selling well.
All motor companies beefing twice the size of engine unnecessary.
310 looks like a 600cc bike. Intruder 150 is like bad remake of Kim Kardashian

Anyone for got trick to save shoes marks from gear leaver? (Except rubber cap from amazon).
I am thinking to ask shoe maker to make a leather cover.

F@*&$g bunch of Jaywalkers in front and A$$#0|es honking from back. People are going retard day by day.

Bike stand still rock solid but I think ABS is worth to add.
I feel you bro. I've the same situation here. It's a stop and go traffic here. And about jaywalkers, those are the kind people who make me wish all my bikes had rear discs.

Replace your Toe Shifter with the Heel & Toe one from Unicorn 160. It'll be a direct fit. Seen people doing it on their Hornets. Doesn't cost much as well.

Yes and people suddenly taking turns without any indicators and some people driving car would just stop in the middle of the road just to look around if they are in the right road/spot. Sucks...
Also the traffic rules aren't strictly followed in India, specially keeping a safe distance from the vehicle in front of you...man it is just not possible people behind you will start honking and try to overtake you then also the overtaking vehicle through the incoming lane..[emoji86] people just dont want to wait for the traffic to clear in their own lane and they will go ahead by driving on the wrong lane. Cant hope that these conditions will improve any sooner.

most of the people don't know how to drive and remaining fools just don't care for others , they don't care until the other vehical is bigger than theirs.
these people stop their vehicals at u turns and narrow roads those dickhead can stop few steps away and can walk but they don't , and we have these women drivers

Today i have seen one car guy hit a dog and it was thrown away into air and hit the wall and that car guy even didn't stopped atleast, poor dog crossed one side of road checking vehicals , when it was stopped at divider some one from otherside knocked horn behind it so it was scared and ran into vehical

May not fit. Unicorn 160 has it's shifter directly attached to the shaft, Hornet has a linkage system+rearset footpegs. SZ-RR's may be fitted on trial and error.

The Suzuki GS150R have a heel-toe shifter with linkage.

Yes Bro, but the mounting is slightly different which makes the toe part a bit too long if fitted on Hornet.

Damn, then I guess you're left with fabricating a heel shifter, though I'm curious to why you'd do so. The only times the shifter actually scarred my work boots was whenever I crashed.

Tbh, the Toe shifter leaves marks on formal shoes. I have to wear sturdy or sport shoes when riding the Hornet. Also, wouldn't the ShineSP shifter fit Hornet? It looks more or less like the SZ-RR. Never seen the one on GS150 before.

No. Same as Unicorn 160.

Hi guys. I might be in need of some help from you. I get to hear this random kat kat sound when i try to rev past 4 or 5k rpm from the engine while riding. I've checked for chain slack and it's just fine and well lubricated too. It's not very high but can be felt from while riding and annoys very much as it's from the engine. I also feel the brake bite in the front reduced. anoopkumar I've had the bike fall just in front of dlf gate 3 last Friday. An @$$hole came from the divider side and stopped it right ahead of me while I was riding and the bike skid due to wet road and steep slide. Hyderabadi roads are like canyons to the left side and valleys in the center.
This sound from the engine is from before the fall though. I also have this clutch moving up and down too much slack. I tried to get it rectified from a mechanic and he said he could adjust the slack but not the upward downward movement and I need to change the lever. I just left that place on hearing it. So, please shed some light on this engine noise and arresting clutch lever upward downward movement

Actually I was trying to convert the heel and toe shifter of my bike to toe only one. The hard box prevented it and it is kind of convenient to stand on the on the heel part when its not shifting [emoji3] . Like BlackPanther's mine too has developed lot of play.

Same thing happened with my earlier bike my clutch lever was also dislocated but was working fine, you should change the lever. Regarding engine noise, try to rev in neutral and see if sound comes from engine, if comes take it to svc, and if doesn't inspect the nike throughout and see sprockets, chains , bearings and take it to svc

Thank you so much. In neutral there's no such sound. I've tried revving in neutral. Also, please let me know the price of the clutch lever.
