Alternatives would be carrying around a mini vacuum cleaner or laminating the entire bike somehow. [emoji50] [emoji38]

Had been to the showroom. The ASC guy did this and fixed the issue [emoji106]Originally posted by Venkatesh Prakash View PostOk then on the right hand side just below the seat , you can find one screw just try to adjust it untill you see the expected RPM
So, except for the sarrr chain noise and little difficulty to change gears, I think everything is working as expected. Thanks for the help guys!

For the gear shift you have to live it untill an year after that some relief can be seen.
Chain sound not expected in a new vehicle get it cleaned and lubed.

Oh. Expected gear shifts to be smooth like the test drive vehicle. It's not bad, but it's not "Honda" smooth.Originally posted by Venkatesh Prakash View PostOk cheers

Okay. Will get the chain checked then.

Hero oil is manufactured by Veedol, Bharat Petroleum and Savita. Not sure if Idemitsu is also a supplier to Hero.

anyone faced this issue or have possible solutions for this.
After changing to hero 10w30 my bike has become very smooth. Only issue i was facing was small vibrations on brake and foot pegs. Local mechanic adjusted very little in the carb and the vibrations were gone. But once the engine heats ( approx driven for 15 Kms in 30 min) bike behaves as show in this video. I mean when i raise the rpm to 3000-4000 and release the throttle it will stay there for some seconds and then slowly fall to idle rpm. my idle rpm currently is about 1200-1250.

Local mechanic might have altered the factory fuel screw setting. Get it readjusted to original setting.Originally posted by mkkvs View Posthttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ji1BjKfw6zY

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
It is bit difficult to relate the smoothness of engine with this model I have almost done 16K kms and still, at times I feel the engine may need some more time.Originally posted by Preshit View PostMy Hornet is not yet smooth. Its almost 2900km now. And second service written in manual is 6000km.
So better is start living with it, it is a characteristic behaviour of this vehicle to make some noise.
