Has anybody laminated the paint surface? Is it resist scratches? Or wax and polishing is better. Give me some idea. The tank gets scratch easily. Thanks

Take breaks every hour to stretch ur legs and have water do not push ur body too much as the weather is very hot. And be confident u can pull it off ride with full gear.
      Good luck.

Yes have seen lamination on few bikes but it looks kind of rough and on white paint it looks yellowish, if u r planning for it do get it done from some experienced fellow.

The tank has a very slippery surface but gets spots/stains which are difficult to clean even with wet cloth. But it is not noticeable unless you try to identify them on purpose.
Do buy and paste additional tank pads if you tend to keep bags and stuff on your tank.

Whether this manual is for India market or International Market?

That, I dont know. But its better that we stick to 5000kms oil change interval. And away from bajaj oil also. Motul is the best for duke 390 and interval is 5000kms. So better we use motul and change at 5000kms. Just to be sure that we dont run into problems.

I will be doing at 5000 kms only.. I was asking as the manual given to us by bajaj for Indian Market clearly states its website as bajajauto.com and email id as [email protected] on 1st page while international one have the website globalbajaj.com... this is my observation.. i may be wrong...

So in my opinion we have to stick to bajaj oil till warranty is over...

I just checked and it says globalbajaj.com. so I guess this is for the international market.

Yup. But there's no oil change at 5000kms but I'll change to motul at that time. Then bajaj oil at 10000kms. 😂

Have you guys observed the oil level is coming down drastically? I know few wrote about it here.

After the first service, and driving for 200km the oil level was at min. So I bought bajaj 1.5L Dtsi 10000 oil and topped it up. After 200km again the oil is at min. I have topped it up twice but the oil is coming down.

No leakage, no white smoke, getting mileage of 30.

                      What could be the reason?

Hello Jayanta Kumar Das, I have put 3M paint protect film. Except for the tank shrouds, entire tank area is covered. It helps resisting minor scratches but cannot be considered as gurilla glass. The film is soft and leaves uneven looking wave effects in some areas. It also doesn't stick properly to the cuts and creases. But is works and there is nothing else I could try. Costs around 1500/-. I'll look for more, aesthetically clean and a permanent solution after rains.

I am not convinced.. warm up or no warm up ?,liitle tilt or straight ? ..Now i am planning to shoot a email directly to bajaj asking correct procedure..

If any of you guys ride more in city traffic use Bajaj oil.
RS200 heats less with Bajaj oil in traffic, Motul 7100 is amazing for highway and higher revs, but in traffic whole bike heats up,it will be same with Dominar.
                              Cheers.

Thanks brother. Cost is little bit on the higher side. I think waxing and polishing regularly will do the job. Previously I owned Black colour hornet for 1 year. I have done nothing except weekly washing. But the paint was still good. Don't know about the paint quality of Dominar. Some minor scratches got on my tank area of White Domonar

Same thing happened to me. Not only oil the coolant level also reduced before the first service ane even after the service. I topped it up at first service. Is this can be major issue?

Thanks brother. I don't keep bag and stuff. Just worry about the scratches from nail or any other objects.
