I'll suggest using good fuel to remove suspicion around fuel.
No issue with fuel. My bike haven't tested any fuel except shell (normal petrol)

I have this one tapping kind of sound from clutch lever. At certain RPM when thr bike vibrates, Mostly around 6 in any gear. Clutch lever tend to vibrate a lot up and down. I was worried initially because i didn't knew the sound source. But now i know it's fine. As soon as it used to come i held the clutch lever down. Just a firm push. And it's fine. Same noise might come from keychain as well.

Just make sure these 2 aren't source of tapping. Keep it simple. [emoji6]

I'm pretty sure the sound is coming from engine. No issues with cluth lever and chain. (It's been only 80 km since ubricated my chain) the sound is there for only 2-3 seconds. It happens only if I twist throttle aggressively. (Not that aggressively but more twsit than the usual. You may think that sound is because of aggressive riding style but it's not because my riding style is too relaxed)

The symptoms are same with me. I also thought it's from engine or some part. But i found it after months. Just do yourself a favour and try keeping holding clutch with your finger with downforce. Just try it. No harm. Once you're sure it's from engine. Go and take help from SVC guys.

I guess u clicked this pic when the engine is hot or after a ride, as these bubles looks like normal due to hot oil, engine oil does kind of boil when it is hot.
The color of oil looks normal, with the coolant mixed it would be muddy, creamy or coffee like.
Take pic of oil in the first thing in the morning (do a warm check).
And clear more doubt u can always get it inspected at ur local svc.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I have got another problem now 🤦*♂️ . There's paint peeling off the engine cylinder and the metal underneath looks rusted. Should i get it checked or is it just surface rust?
Seen a similar case recently here in delhi and they are replacing the engine casing under warranty free of any cost.

Yesterday I heard the same noise at the speed of 95kmph

I was in 6th gear and at a constant speed of 90. And at one point twisted the throttle for quick acceleration and I heard the tapping) knocking sound for about 2 seconds.

(Odo is 3700. Engine oil is just above minimum mark and it looks too dirty.
And I was driving from college to home at 2 pm. The sound was not loud, if I were wearing a helmet I couldn't have heard it)
Get it checked properly and do compare it with other Dominars. Could be related to Valves if the sound is loud and not normal.
None of us can comment on this by reading only it needs to be heard and experienced.
Make sure u r using correct grade of engine oil.

My experience from my Charger, 5V 2.4A.. GPS always on.. Phone was discharging faster than charging due to network fluctuation.. Where network was strong phone didn't drop from whatever % it was then, but later it discharged at higher rate... It delays phone shutdown by a good margin to complete your trip atleast...

Second service done yesterday.. Sai service at Pune..

Well, had a bad experience as I had given my ride at 9:30am in the morning and till 7pm it wasn't serviced.. I was waiting there from 5:45pm to 6:45pm just to know that it was washed and Teflon coated... I did not leave my ride alone with them since then, followed it inside the workshop too and helped them to do stuffs as well..
Things done-
1. Teflon coat (Just wanted to finish this Jopasu Ultracoat thing I purchased, I'm planning to get a 9H one and do it myself)
2. Chain slider clamp (I told them I know about it and so it was not missed... Ijs )
3. Oil + Filter Change + 2nd filter cleaning + 3rd filter draining only
I use Motul 7100 10w50 (Life is around 5k).
Now the best part here, I asked them to remove the body below and open the bolt to drain the oil from 3rd filter.. They didn't know about it .. One guy heading there said, "carbon gets accumulated blah blah.. You don't have to do it..". I actually forced them to open up, it was a learning for them so they did ("Customer has asked, do it we will know what it is", this was a statement I lip read when they were discussing in a low voice).. They didn't know what's gonna come out when we loosen up that bolt.. I told them it's engine oil, that's when they bought a container to hold it off..
4. Push plugs for the headlamp body, one of them fell somewhere during my trip..
5. SVC guy greased the battery terminals
6. Chain slack adjustment (They said they did, I'm yet to check as I was in a hurry to notice the sound coming)
7. Chain cleaning + Lubing
Now they messed this part big time.. They did the cleaning with diesel but that was used by a 100 others and black as tar, they didn't give time to dry and lubed.. Lubed but not sufficient, gear shifting is rough.. Saturday I will have to clean up the mess they did with my chain, swing arm, RIM and lube it as well.. That was a set off after all the delay..
8. Clutch cable adjustment

Since I didn't trust them to do things right and toy around, I was there all the time.. I left with my ride at 8pm... Bill Rs. 208/-

Now a question to anyone, do we add any engine smoothing agent oil along with engine oil? They told me it's optional and costed around Rs. 130/-.. I forgot to add it so am asking, do we really need it..?

• How to install front number plate

Since I bought used dominar, bike i received was not fitted with HSRP in front, reason I was given was, there is no bracket, so it was having stickers on windshield.

So my question is, how to fix front number plate? I saw bracket on 99rpm.com, can any one post few photo showing fixing I'm details?

I'm planning to install SBS Standard ceramic brake pads in the front. Has anyone tried them? They are available for 750 bucks so it would be a good upgrade as I'm not that satisfied with initial bite of the brake. EBS Sintered ones are also an option but they are for 2.9k... [emoji848]

Please check/research once. Its pointless to do Teflon on fibre/plastic. The effect will be gone in a few washes. Asc push these as its a high margin service from them.
