Not gonna happening any soon. Haha.
    I wish for
17-20 L tank and new digital cluster with proper fuel guage and gear shift indicator.
    Teller windscreen option
    Centre stand option.

    Thats it.

Same here!! Was planning to get the bike before Deshara, so not sure whether I should wait for 2019 model and get discounts on 2018 model

Those are not ONLY major updates.
It's a double barrel exhaust and not twin like MoJo JoJo.
Improved console will give a fresh feel.
        USD forks help in handling.
Improved or remapped ECU for better power and torque curve would be so welcomed.

          Wouldn't that be a 17k well spent?

I don't think so. Bajaj has never done it in past. They stick to power figures. I don't think there would be any changes with power.... For the people who want more aggressive bike. Bajaj is already offering KTM 390.

I want two things from the new version :

Much much smoother engine. Twin cylinder !!(i wish)
              Predictable rear brake.
              More pleasant exhaust note.
              A 650 cc option .
Less top heavy. (A redesigned chasis to reduce the top heavy nature of the bike)
There is a reason the tank is only 13L, any larger and it will become more top heavy. You can already feel it after you do a full tank.
So those wishing for a larger tank, i dont think that will be in this upgrade.

What i dont want to changed :
Keep the regular forks. USD forks dont provide any benefit whatsoever in our riding conditions. I dont want to run to the garage each time the oil seal wears out. Though, if this alters the top heavy nature of the bike by shifting the center of mass downward, them iam all for it.

Please, do not add stickers all over the tank like in newer pulsars. The one thing i like about the Dominar is its mature design.

                Agree about looks part.

Its already perfected. I like golden alloys as well.

Only thing I wish for is less weight. Rest it does everything as good as one can expect. Be it fuel economy or lack of overheating.

In fact they should update ns200 to look like dominar.

The Dominar getting the upgrade is necessary. Two probable reasons, why? Sales isn't as what Bajaj had hoped to. Two, it's still trying to make a hole in the pseudo-tourer segment which though it's trying hard but can't. All the hathi math bolo and the interesting ads just didn't fare well. It's like classic Goliath vs David for all the wrong reasons, which I need not delve much.

Just to speak of competition to which the Dominar can hold a candle to, on a lighter note. But, the Domi getting the upgrades is in the right moment, we all know Bajaj always gets the timing right, with the competition that its against launching ABS, and new color schemes and the upcoming middle weight that's created quite a ruckus among the bhakts, it's the right time the Domi getting an upgrade which would make it an even more sweeter proposition to resist. To put it simply, Bajaj has got the brains of a wicked nerd and the philosophy of a sage.

                  Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                  The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                  THE END

Re does have a huge customer base which bajaj is trying to lure. I suspect most of the buyers are 150 cc aspirants who add extra cash and jump onto re classic 350. Good 150s are already closing in on 1 lac mark which makes it easy.

While bajaj tried to directly take those customers, Yamaha tried a different approach with fz25 by offering a nearly 150cc bike in every measure but with added brisk performance. Its easy and light enough so anyone going to get fz16 can come out of showroom with fz25 instead.

Ultimately both failed to achieve what they tried. Only people who benefitted are enthusiasts, people who use bikes for more than commuting, treat it as lifestyle, since we got 2 cracker, perfected machines.

This would be too much to expect from Bajaj, when current Dominar sales is not meeting their expectation.

I wish increased Ground clearance, shed some weight, and a button to switch off ABS.
And to all owning the Dominar, the rear suspension is really too stiff, even a small pothole sends message to my spine. How are things after making adjustments towards softer side?

Cat-con scraps more when you switch to softer side.
                            Also
If you go one step stiffer than stock setting bike feels taller for short riders. In soft setting, justice for shorties.
But personally I don't recommend you soft setting as mosnoshock bottoms out when ridden double seat. You can easily hear 'thud' sound almost everytime you hit the speedbreaker or deep potholes.

Catcon is usually inside the exhaust can.
I guess you meant the underbody/sidestand.

Any impact to any portion of the exhaust cans is detrimental and even bikes with lowest GC take precautions to safeguard the pipes.

                                No. Not the exhaust pipe.
Exhaust pipe is way above the lowest point of the bike so theres no chance of scrapping exhaust pipe during pothole run.

There's no sidestand at the bottom.
Side stand is always located near gear lever or below foot peg. Unless you have damaged retention spring it won't leave it's place so no this isn't scrapping.

There's huge cat con box under the engine.
Other than that there's plastic engine shroud to protect oncoming debris from front rubber.

But one adult can easily tell the differences between metal scraping sound and plastic.

This experience will differ person to person as I'm 6'4" tall 97kg while my pillion was ~70kgs
