    Where to find them?

That's funny, KTM 390 and Bajaj Domi both sharing the almost same engine, there was always a 3rd drain point under the engine bottom case(1st one is the main drain bolt, oil filter being 2nd), most KTM service guys know about it. Wonder how Bajaj haven't trained their own service center guys

But in-spite of KTM guys knowing it they usually skip that part as they are LAZY since they have take the pain of removing the whole underbelly panel in case of RC200/390 (in my case RC390) and engine cowl in case naked 200/390.

I had forced the same to do on my bike when they had skipped it, they try to argue "Sir oil will not be more than 50-100ml it won't matter it's fine etc etc", in the end I forced them eventually (I am pretty much sure he was scolding and cursing me deep inside the whole time he was doing it).

Second service done yesterday.. Sai service at Pune..

Well, had a bad experience as I had given my ride at 9:30am in the morning and till 7pm it wasn't serviced.. I was waiting there from 5:45pm to 6:45pm just to know that it was washed and Teflon coated... I did not leave my ride alone with them since then, followed it inside the workshop too and helped them to do stuffs as well..
          Things done-
          1. Teflon coat (Just wanted to finish this Jopasu Ultracoat thing I purchased, I'm planning to get a 9H one and do it myself)
          2. Chain slider clamp (I told them I know about it and so it was not missed... Ijs [emoji14] )
          3. Oil + Filter Change + 2nd filter cleaning + 3rd filter draining only
          I use Motul 7100 10w50 (Life is around 5k).
Now the best part here, I asked them to remove the body below and open the bolt to drain the oil from 3rd filter.. They didn't know about it .. They didn't know what's gonna come out when we loosen up that bolt.. I told them it's engine oil, that's when they bought a container to hold it off..
          4. Push plugs for the headlamp body, one of them fell somewhere during my trip..
          5. SVC guy greased the battery terminals
          6. Chain slack adjustment (They said they did, I'm yet to check as I was in a hurry to notice the sound coming)
          7. Chain cleaning + Lubing
Now they messed this part big time.. They did the cleaning with diesel but that was used by a 100 others and black as tar, they didn't give time to dry and lubed.. Lubed but not sufficient, gear shifting is rough.. Saturday I will have to clean up the mess they did with my chain, swing arm, RIM and lube it as well.. That was a set off after all the delay..
          8. Clutch cable adjustment

Since I didn't trust them to do things right and toy around, I was there all the time.. I left with my ride at 8pm... Bill Rs. 208/-

Now a question to anyone, do we add any engine smoothing agent oil along with engine oil? They told me it's optional and costed around Rs. 130/-.. I forgot to add it so am asking, do we really need it..?
There is no need to add anything to the engine oil , we are already using full synthetic oil. Avoid using such additives , for once a while you can use injector cleaners in petrol tank after riding fir 10k kms or around that.

This bracket comes fitted to the bike from the factory or if not than it always comes with the bike from the factory you can write a mail to bajaj regarding this.

Yep the quantity of oil is around 100ml not less, and that is good enough to spoil the fresh oil.

It's just 2800 km. Oil level shouldn't be this low... Right ?

Yes.. I think its because of a damaged piston ring because i had the same problem on my bike as well.. You should check it with the svc and dont over rev or go on long rides with less oil.. Its gonna overheat the engine make things even worse

Damaged piston ring is highly unlikely.
My riding style is not at all rough, so no Stress on engine.

Even i thought the same on my bike as well.. I found this problem on my bike 6 months after buying.. It was a manufacturing defect as told from the svc i guess... Check for any oil leaks or such around the engine.. If not put in neutral and rev for 5 seconds and check the exhaust smoke colour.. If its blue or white then you can be certain oil is burning and because of a damaged piston ring

There are no oil leaks. I checked already. I'll try the engine revving Tomorrow to check the smoke.

Looks like a check done on the cold engine, warm up the puppy first fo it first thing in the morning or when the bike is idel for few hours when it is cold. Just warmup thw engine by having a short ride around your block say 1 or 2 kms us enough then park it and keep it straight to check the level.

Did that too.. oil level rises after turning it on. But it comes to this level when I turn it off.

For the time being just get a top up done and observe for some time.

It's the recommended grade only. SC guys changed it at 1st service. I didn't changed it after that. I'm going to the SC now. Will see what happens.
