Did u saw what grade they have used , if the 20w50 is used instead of 10w50 than the level going down after 2.5k kms is normal, and with motul 10w50 too i have seen level getting low at 3k kms.
Whereas with bajaj 10w50 the level on my bike hasn't gone low even in 5k kms.

Again do a topup foe now and observe it.

Noted, good that I forgot about engine oil additive then..

Injector cleaners, can you name any good one? Well I use Shell V-Power, do I still need to use it?

Yup I can confirm that at around 3k kms Motul needs a top up.. 100ml not much...

I have faced this even when there was 0 leaks and or no burning issues oil would still drop(not on the Dominar though), I even ended up draining twice at 3.5K to measure the quantity, it used to be around 1.2-1.3L assuming another 100ml is wasted during draining.

One thing though I have noticed if you replaced a new oil filter, it's best to pre-dip the oil filter in spare fresh oil, since to fully soak the filter it uses nearly 75-100ml of oil. So this could be adding factor for the dip.

Shell v power is very good but i personally think using anything above 91 octane on regular basis is overkill as the engine is not the high compression ratio type. Using higher Octane fuel at say every 3 tank fill is ok. In fact using higher Octane fuel a regular compression engine can results in pre combustion or combustion failure.

On the injectors cleaner , you can use any good brand like stp, liqymoli etc at say 10kms or more.

Shell V-Power is 91 octane right? Plus additives..

Update: Read the Shell UK docs.. It say 99RON.. Right then, I'll switch to speed for sometime.. I opted for shell coz it improved performance on my bothers old Fazer quite a lot.. Will alternate, 3 tanks Speed and 2 tanks Shell.. Saves money too

Hello. I have got my oil changed at 5k kms. Now at 7500 kms.

My query is oil seems fine and everything else as well. But when check my oil level (yes, on warm engine) it shows little i have to tilt it a little more towards me, then it shows perfect. Just like 95 degrees maybe. So is it fine? Or it has to be a 90 degrees only?

              IJS bhai specially.

The regular Shell fuel is good enough for all these bikes.
It is a much cleaner version of petrol and doesn't leave whitish deposits when it evaporates.
There's no need to go for the expensive versions of petrol.

Regular petrol at shell has just 93 octanes... Right ? (I'm using the regular one, I never filled the power petrol till now)
The reason is use only shell petrol pump is that it's trustworthy. Each and every shell station is trustworthy.

I believe all private bunks are trust worthy. Like of essar and reliance. I use essar mostly since that's the only trustworthy bunk nearby.

                      Hello guys.
I just got a call from Shisa Bajaj, vadodara for the chain slider fitment. I am at 7500 kms. Not willing to ride it to there as of now. How important is it. I have already rode 7500 kms without it anyway. I know it is to prevent chain from slipping or something.

It is kind of a failsafe to make the ride more safe and assuring, no need to rush for it. Get it done whenever you visit there.

Regular fuel standard in India is ron91 which is the recomended grade in user manual 95 is still higher than 91 but ok , i would still say do not constantly keep using it. 2 tanks of regular fuel than 1 of high Octane is good.

                                Now this makes me think..
                                Bharat Petroleum:
Regular - How much is this if
                                Speed - 91RON
                                Speed 97 - Obviously 97 RON

                                Also in case of HP..
Do you have any link? I thought in India regular fuel is 87RON..

                                How right is this source?

Confused as what is written for Shell India
