    For my GK

If we want to shift bike by train, we have to empty petrol tank, does this fries n damaging FI? What if by miss fuel gets low in mid of highway, what precautions can be taken until next petrol station. So, its 13ltr of tank, only 10ltr usable in safe mode?.

Digital fule meter of bajaj sucks same thing happens with my p180 and 200ns for carb it's not an issue because of reserve knob
But for fi bikes its a major issue specially if you are touring
bajaj should provide atleast distance to empty meter [emoji52] [emoji52] [emoji52] [emoji52] [emoji52]

A good way of avoiding this would be to keep an empty 2 L bottle with you. Keep some fuel in the bike till you reach the station and then empty the tank only after reaching the railway station. When you have to pick up the bike from destination station, use the same 2-L bottle to put some petrol and then get tank filled from a nearby petrol pump.

            Hello fellow member,
Few updates, i haven't been online since some days due to busy schedule. Today is the 10th day of ownership, completed 800kms. Getting my first service done. I found the suspensions hard but as i asked the mech to loosen them, they said we make it to the stiffest setting for delivery. I can't believe i was riding in the stiffest setting for 800 kms. Mileage came out to be 28 before service. Got 2 owners manual, number plate, rc will be available soon.

Didn't got time. + 2 rides were 200-250 kms so that increased the reading. Btw bill came out to be 1090

Yes. Been there. The fuel indicator showed last two bars, but I was nearing Ghat roads on my way from Cudapah, so didn't wanna take a risk and fueled at the next pump. Filled in 11.4 litres. I was shellshocked, because the manual says the last bar is 3 ltrs but still, I filled 11.4L to brim, when indicator showed two bars (even after ignition off and on). So I guess its better to refill earlier.

                    Hello All,

I bought the bike three days back, I feel that my bike engine is getting heated up, I can feel the heat while driving and also when the radiator fan kicks in it will blew hot air out and I can feel that too... I took to service center they said everything is working fine and nothing to worry, also observed the coolant level decreased in three days so they replaced it, want to find out if its same with you all...

                    P. S: the panel above the engine is also getting heated.

The bike does heat up a bit in bumper to bumper traffic and constant ride at high rpms. Nevertheless, the radiator does a fine job. Try riding on a highway at about 60-80kmph and check if you still feel the heat.

But 1st service after 750km voids warranty right ?

No bro. My first service was at 980kms.
I had gone to Pondicherry and I informed the service engr that I cant reach in time for service and that it would be over 900kms . He just asked me to check the engine oil level and if it is fine, there's no problem.

1 more update, I FRICKING HATE THAT OIL. I am home, rode 50kms after the service (in traffic, highway and normal 70-80 too) but the bike feels sluggish as of now. No body panel vibrations . Rest all seems to be fine more or less.
Also the vibrations are same for me , even after service.

Thats not good! you actually could have ended with empty tank!

How's the front wheel braking now? Did you take it to the doc?

I had the same concern. The initial week the heat generated was more. I did a couple of rides and its completely fine now.
Follow what [MENTION=88300]Unforgiv3n biker[/MENTION] suggested. Munch few more KMs. It should be fine.
