I have checked the tires, disc and fork closely. There isnt any problem with them guys.
Went on a short ride now hard braking frequently to give more details.
Feels like the front wheel gets locked and skids to the side, and that's when the lever pushes itself away.
Not feeling when I brake slowly, but feeling scary when I brake hard as if brakes dont work at all. vengalabdj Will see what I could do with the abs fuse thingy as u said s1d not trusting ppl here bro.
Will ride back safe, if that's the last choice I have.

Air caught in the brake tubes maybe? I mean its strange that the lever pushes itself away.

with a warped rotor braking at slow speeds will be ok, i felt the pulsating/impossible to use the brakes at speeds above 50kmph.
just get an opinion at the svc, no need to get any repairs.. you never know it might a simple thing.

Air just reduces the force sent to the calipers. Doesn't do stuff like pushing lever back.

Haha.. No need to apologize bro.

I have a little experience in this stuff due to my college projects. Air in the brake lines is very common for me.(In our projects)

vengalabdj Removed the abs fuse and rode the bike. Problem still persists. But I feel the effect is reduced.
The main thing that happens is, the front wheel skids sideways when I brake hard. But on gradual braking, nothing happens.
And as the wheel skids, it becomes difficult to control the bike at higher speeds and especially if there's a vehicle in front.

Is there a possibility that the ABS system is faulty? I mean, it's supposed to prevent the skidding, right?

Did you rule out fishtailing? If the ABS is faulty you may experience the bike wobbling left and right under hard braking, which happens in non ABS bikes. Try using only the front brake, and see if it solves the wobbles.

Exactly, that's what happens. Thanks for the right words. When I employ the brakes (hardbraking), the bike wobbles left and right and if I use just the front brake, the wheel skids, more like the wheel locks, and the braking feels very intermittent. ( that is, the wheel stops for a second, the lever pushes itself away , the wheel moves, vehicle jerks, brake applies again, the wheel stops, jerks and the same is repeated until the bike comes to a stop)
And I'm puzzled as well, isn't ABS supposed to prevent skidding. Have the same doubt, if something wrong with the ABS system.

PS: rode the bike now just using rear brake. No problem as such. Feels good. Though the bite is poor. The problem I feel should be between the front brake lever and the front brake/ the ABS system.

Take ur bike to the service center for checkup they would hook it up with obd scanner and see what is wrong with the abs. Also what tyre pressure you are keeping.

Tyre pressure as recommended bro.
29 for front and 32 for rear.

Guys, the bunch of exposed wiring under the rear seat is making noises when running over pot holes or undulations, especially within city. It's quite irritating. Any body came up with a jugaad?

Also has anyone tuned suspension to a more softer setting? Can we do it ourself at home?
