I checked with the svc at Cudapah and they couldn't find any problem. I didn't find any trouble braking on the way back home. I've informed the svc at Coimbatore. They said I could bring the bike immediately there if I wanted, else the issue can be checked while I take her for second service, as the odo is at 3.7K already.

BP speed vs normal petrol for dominar experience : Bike cold start sounds like irregular firing on some days. Bike rides heavier, can feel it when twisting throttle, there is more engine braking, seems like slightly greater torque. On regular petrol, engine feels free, lesser engine braking.
When both grades are supposed to be Octane 91, i feel quite a big difference.
Am planning to try 400 regular + rest speed. Anyone else see a difference.

I think Regular petrol from BP are not 91 Octane.

The BP website just mentions additives for speed, no jump in octane over regular petrol. Anyways, what's your BP speed experience. Is it better for the ride

I haven't tried regular grade yet. Will do it this time and let you know. And I haven't faced any of the issue which you got while using Speed.

All regular fuel sold in India is minimum 91 octane.
Speed is normal fuel + additive (Examples of additives are System G/ Adon P etc.. BP might have their own additive blend)
Speed 97 is the higher octane fuel, and not easily available.

+1 read the same thing on this and other sites. Minimum Octane 91 is by regulation.
