Usual suspect i haven't calculated the milage post service so can not comment.
Gear shift is smoother than before post service.
And there is no such thud sound in my pillion seat or any where from rear. There are rubber things on the pillion seat check if that is ok or not .

Has anybody noticed, the angle of the right and left ORVM is not the same. First of all mirror is bit smaller. I am OK with the right mirror but the angle of the left one is not comfortable.

Don't have any images now.

Check if the mirrors are screwed in properly. Usually mirrors and crash guards are installed at the dealership level. So, there might be a discrepancy in the way it's screwed in. Secondly, did you cross check with any other D400? Mirrors are supposed to be uniform from at least what I've known so far. There are lock nuts in the mirror stem. If there is a difference in the locknut adjustment, one will be higher or won't come to the position.

Do have a look at it, try adjusting the lock nut yourself and see how it fares.

Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

THE END

I think he is taking abt how the levers are positioned. some times they may be of different angles and hence the Rvm which sits on top of it too.

Yes, the angle of the left and right mirror levers are not the same. I checked another bike at the showroom, which also had the similar set up. When you sit on the bike and see both the levers you can make out.

Yes, point made by Maneesh. Actually, if the stem holders themselves which are tightened with bolts 8 mm bolts (left and right) If one is down or up, then we have angle issues. Meaning, one is deeper and and one is above. If you have the right tool you can loosen these bolts, align them yourself to the right position, sitting on the bike and then tighten the bolts.

Areas rounded red is where the mirror stem mount is bolted to the handlbar. Loosen these bolts and adjust them accordingly.

The same 8mm bolts adjust the levers also. So if you adjust the mirror, the lever also goes down.

Will changing the position of levers as said above will make any changes in the position of break levers?

Yeah. The assembly consists of the mirror and the lever. The bolt is to loosen that assembly. They both move together.

As of now placed a microfiber cleaning glove in the glove box so that it doesn't shake much over pot holes. But still at times I hear the noise.
I too had the same problem, I took the bike to the showroom and the mechanic said it's the chain sound. He fixed it and now that sound is gone.

Latest update guys.! Bad news.. Fernanda is suffering from oil leak from engine casing(under belly). Here is the pic. No damage or whatsoever spotted. Looks like leak is just from the gasket.

Sorry for bad pic quality. Mobile app doesn't let me upload better quality.

Might go to service Centre today. Will keep you guys posted on this.

Have not been on the forum for a while!! Quite a busy thread

Have been riding the "D" only in city. Had planned for a solo 500 Kms round trip which did not happen (Man proposes, Wife disposes).

The rattles from right side of the rear cowl area is definitely annoying, even on the smallest of potholes, it has to make its presence felt.
The engine is getting a nice run in, as it is getting used to the city conditions.

After fist service the ECU was updated, but felt no difference for my riding style, never crossed 6k RPM till date. However, i have already mentioned that I am not happy with the service.

I usually keep my bike in first gear and switch off the bike, while in stop n go traffic (to keep off the clunky first gear). However, recently noticed, in such scenario when i start the bike, fully declutched, I notice slight move of the bike. I assume this is the ill setting of clutch. I am thinking of taking to my trusted mechanic who used to service my first Caliber 115.

Any good stickering guys around jayanagar area in Bengaluru? Want to get the matte black stickering done for the top of the tank and the knee recess area.
Nothing is comparable to the simple pleasures of a bike ride.

I do the same thing myself. Also the initial thrill ride is wearing off and i am happy to keep the revs low under 4000. Only revving for overtaking at which point i am more focused on the traffic.

Update regarding my brake issue:
Seems like the front disc is in fact warped. Hearing a screeching sound while rotating the front tyres, from the caliper zone. Getting it checked at the local svc today.
