Hey, then you are indeed blessed to get the Shell Advance Ultra Full Synthetic oil for 500 INR. I guess your dealer gave a huge discount for some reason
P.S. Use a full synth engine oil (Castrol Power 1 Racing, Motul 300V Factory Line, Shell Advance Ultra, ... etc.) ONLY after 7,000-10,000Kms as discussed in this thread a whole lot of times.
P.P.S. I would be using Motul 3100 Gold/ Shell Advance AX7/ TVS Tru4 Premium from now on. Mainly because my daily commuting is low and i can't benefit from the extended drain period of full synth engine oils. And i don't want to use an oil for more than 4 months too. Finally to avoid the head ache of checking the F S oil level frequently.The Apache is ever willing to red line each cog, but the Rider ain't. Enjoy RTR, Safely. Period.Comment

Exactly. FS oils do tend to go down a bit too early. Thats why I'm using the SS now also. But then, I'm using Motul 5100 SS, the 15w50 one. Its better to use in Indian conditions rather than 20w40 IMO.It's not about the RIDE. It's about HOW YOU ride :]Comment

Got my pegasus two days back after a whole week at the SVC...though they did the work good...she ws kinda feelin odd...the engine sound was harsh...and gear shifts were painful...
Things have become better after i changed her oil yesterday...cudnt get TVS tru4 (opted for tat frst coz only >1.8k on odo) so had to get another one..so went in for Gulf pride 4t...now she s kinda smooth as before...
while draining out what was left of the oil in her, it was pitch black...as Tar. :/
