thanks bro, will post a front view soonOriginally posted by krrishi View PostVishnu, Interesting mod there, would love to see the front view of Pegasus with the KTM horns
on it, the RVM"s gel very well with the beast.
and yes those gels sure does a good job hiding the socket, as if its a part of the handle itself.
somehow i feel that its got a wider view angle than the stock one despite the size, but that maybe just an illusion
but i have to admit that there is a big problem (the only one) while riding except the unique vibe free rpms...the images on the mirror gets blurred
thanks to the vibes. i guess TVS did have a reason for using the stock one
( was less in the stock but it was still there) :P
if what i think is right, KTMs got LED indicators..but way too expensive at almost 1.8k for two pairs.Originally posted by prateek2210 View Post

would probably replace each and every bulb except the headlight with LEDs when i can source them, atleast that would decrease the load on battery(thanks to the 100/90) even then only the indicators and numberplate lights are the only ones left which aren't LED :PLast edited by vishnu.leo; 09-08-2012, 12:10 AM.Just your friendly neighborhood panda. @thebigfatlazypanda

@Vishnu
Keep checking the reflector. It might turn black coz of the heat

One of my friend has installed Angel Eye's on Impulse (AC setup by just rewinding coil) & its working fine so i hope it will work on our 180 ABS DC set up too

1.8K for two pairs of LED indicators???
, Are the indicators made from gold??

Prateek sir, i wanted to know specifically if I have to check anything up on the ABS... I dont have any clue about how things should be or look...Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostAgain go through my signature link
The only time I've come across an ABS version is when I test drove and like a fool I din pay attention to it...

@krrishi
the front view pics you asked

even though ABS is active all the time (except when you turn it off yourself) it doesnt kick in until the wheels get locked up.Originally posted by madhav766 View PostPrateek sir, i wanted to know specifically if I have to check anything up on the ABS... And just make sure that the ABS light doesnt stay ON even after crossing 10Km/h when you take the delivery of your ride
(it checks itself for errors during that 0-10Km/h stretch)
And if you still want to feel the ABS a hard braking would be enough to kick it in. But i would advice you not do that to the new bike.Last edited by vishnu.leo; 09-08-2012, 06:59 PM.Just your friendly neighborhood panda. @thebigfatlazypanda

ha ha.. i really hoped for a split seat floating numberplate holder to be on the new RTR.. but guess tat wud have made it look bad and out of the apache legacy.
but still the LEDs are under serious consideration now, just to compensate for the headlight bulb
