    Hi guys,

    Have any of you checked the new RTRs (180)? They seem to come shod with newer & different looking TVS rubber, which the SA claims to be of softer compound - I think it could be dual compound. The tire patterns are quite different from the earlier ones, though.

        1.5 years, 18000 kms completed and I love her like I did when I brought her home.
        She is going strong and i am one happy owner
        BTW i am going to change the tyres soon so can you guys suggest some good tyres
        I am currently running on pilot sporty on front and zapper vyde on rear
        120 section tyres are also welcomed as im running on one, I need some light and grippy tyres preferably in 120 section.

        P.S - I own a RTR 160 and please no dual purpose tyres.

                    Not sure. But when I took delivery of my beast two weeks back, dealer said 250cc Apache is coming soon along with BMW. Rather he claimed that he have seen bike himself and there is BMW logo at place where third R of RTR is. Launch may be within 2-3 month. I am not sure about authenticity of that guy.

                        With TVS clearly teamed up with BMW, it's obvious that Apache's successor is on it's way... atleast by fall 2015 it should be production ready. I'm sure TVS is hard at work.
                        It could be that TVS was already working on a bigger Apache in past years but their R&D team had to almost start from scratch after teaming up with BMW. Hence, the further delay in their next bike. Who knows..

                            Well, Obviously Not Happy to sell it. But, its been long since I am planning to sell it but always postponed it.

                            anyway, new bike is still a question. Will see what comes in future but 2014 is not best Riding year for me. As Prateek said, Not as per planned.

                                hello guys its almost more than 2 years since I have posted...my bike is running in great condition even after 4 years now I am looking for a tyre upgrade please suggest some good tyres.how are the TVS tyres(TVS RAPTOR I guess) which come with the latest model apache???also there is some irritating sound from the fairing from the past 2-3 years which those tvs svc's have not been able to get rid of,any solution to that?? it comes after 4-5K RPM and also rear footpegs have become loose should I get them replaced??
