Suprajit is today the leader of cables and supplies to all the bike companies and most car companies. But i wanted to say that those cables that came in 2000-2006, you cannot be able to get same cable now. Its because if companies were to manufacture same quality cable then it will cost approximately Rs.150 in the market for which you pay Rs.70. So the quality of cables has decreased to accommodate inflation.

I have purchased the parts today, including bore-piston kit, from the largest Hero-Honda dealership in Chennai. All OE but they do not allow you to open the pack and see what is the brand. I opened the bore kit after purchase, but could not see Usha name anywhere. Any way it is purchased, so it will be fitted.

The thing is that DID is marketing now so stocks are not available. Similar here by friend had got some stocks and all are sold out.
The quality is in sprockets as in other companies sprocket teeth are not properly finished and thus chain has up-down movement. But in DID the sprocket teeth are finished like mirror and thus chain travels in perfect straight line.

Thats what i wanted a high performance chain sprocket.
The retailer was saying that it will last for 25000 kms. But he dont how well a person is going maintain who is asking for

But do i see any decrease in top speed if 43 is fitted?
and how can i identify if its original or fake? any pics?

                • Guys, looking for a bike for my dad's staff,so lesser the cost, more the better Daily commuting would be between 30-40kms.Which is the best between Dawn, Deluxe and Splendor+?AFAIK, all the bikes use same engine with a little tweak (7.4 and 7.8), but still there is a huge price difference. Please suggest guys.
                  Thanks

The price difference is not for engine but for quality. It will be better if you go for splendor pro, as you will also get self start, more torque engine and also better headlight and also pass light.
Believe me we have both splendor pro and cd-deluxe. Although the price is 6k difference i can easily make out the difference. Almost everything on splendor pro feels two notches better in quality than CD deluxe. Our CD deluxe has lost its new feel after 2 years but our splendor+ was feeling new till it got stolen.
So i advice you to go for spl pro. Splendor pro is far better in quality than CD deluxe.
However i do not think they have the same quality of my joy but still splendor pro is much better than CD-DELUXE and will hold better after 3-4 years and also resale value is very high.

Splendor+ is the only bike now in herohonda fleet which sports old model engine. Every other bikes come with new model engine.
Both splendor+ and splendor pro are par on quality.
Why i recommend splendor pro over splendor + because:-
                            1. Pro comes with 7.8 bhp and 8.04 Nm engine while + comes with 7.4 bhp and 7.8 Nm engine.
                            2. + has normal rocker while pro has roller bearing rocker which reduces friction between camshaft and rocker arm
                            3. Magnet is same as cbz i.e inverted magnet and consist of 8 poles while + consists of old model magnet with only three coils. So light output is more and also if you want you can convert to full Dc at later date.
                            4. CDI is DC in Pro which causes better firing and stable firing while in + the CDI is AC and thus current decreases when speed slows sown
                            5. + comes with old model carb and pro comes with new model carburettor like super splendor thus mileage is better and also better metering of fuel
                            6. Tyres are CEAT ZOOM in pro while + comes with tvs tyre.
                            7. In pro you get self start and also pass light which + lacks.
                            8. In pro you get paper filter as opposed to foam in +.

These are some differences. SO it will be better to go for PRO as it has many advantages and if sometimes you were to ride it in place of your bike you will find it to be peppy.
Go for pro and go for self start and spoke version. Splendor looks better in spoke wheels.SO go for spoke wheels.
If any problem in getting color of your choice then contact me i have enough contacts with hero to get you bike of your color.

These are our three heroes(my two bikes and my sis pleasure). My fathers pro is not in this photo.
Every bike has been washed and waxed and thus got the opportunity to photograph all three at a time.It was really a daunting task to wash all three and wax all the bikes.
