After change of block kit my bike has run 2600 kms (drinking engine oil and with low compression, which has improved after valve polishing).

Thanks for your valuable inputs.

Whenever you are free please guide me for DIY of timing chain change and method to determine its health (as it is factory fitted and not changed yet)

A small update from my side.

Some days before, i saw a little rust here and there in the fins of the bore. So i bought this black colour paint (picture attached below) For Rs. 80. It worked quite well. Since the fins are not glossy in colour, like the crank case and engine block, not much difference was noted. Is it ok to use the paint in rusted areas?

Ya it is ok to use the paint on fins. Nothing to worry. But when you are spraying, before that remove the surface rust by scrapping the portion with sand paper adn them cleaning it with cloth and then spray the paint on the affected part.

Is there any spray like this available that we can directly apply on the fiber glossy parts?

sibun sir, Sure. Took your piece of advice. I did not use sand paper this time since those rusts were like big dots. Next time I will.

@All, last week I rode my passion pro from my place to chennai to meet my cousin. I avoided the NH and took the state highway for the first 110 kms and the remainig 65 kms was done on NH 45. I stayed there for one day and returned home the next day.

Total kms in 2 days= 351

Quantity of petrol= 6 litres. I still had 2 bars when returned home.

Sharing some pictures now.

That white towel acts as a lubricant between the butt and the seat. Had i not used that towel, my butt would have been cried for help badly!!

Apart from the speeding vehicles, state highway is very peaceful to ride.

The paint which i bought does not give a glossy look. The look will be in the colour of the silencer, bumper, bore fins. I dont know which paint gives that glossy look. Just telling you for Information.

Hey.. there are different shades of black (and other colors available) in those spray on cans. Its always better to sand/clean the surface and use a primer (which is also available in an aerosol can) before putting on the actual color, especially for the panels.
You can get them at paint/hardware shops or look on ebay, snapdeal etc.. some brands are bosny, kobe etc..

This thread is dead for some days, let me add something here. My joy is running excellent with bike running like new and pulls like a locomotive, so no updates from my side regarding bike. But something else with some photos:-

Monsoon hit late in odisha this year. But as soon as it hit, it rained incessantly for 15 days with rains everyday. So naturally the rivers were flooded and full of muddy water. So my friend and me decided to look over the river and we just need reason to ride bike.

Here is a photo of the beautiful overcast sky, while we were sipping tea at a roadside stall. I like this views as it gives a cooling effect to mind.

The bridge which is under construction. You can see the square pedestal on which the pillar of the bridge is standing. We friends used to party there on sunday evenings. Sadly it is submerged due to floods.

We humans are the real culprits here as not only we have destroyed nature but also gods creation that is the innocent animals. I usually gets pissed when todays so called loving parents( they behave so much over the top as if our parents didn't loved us), will say his child to move away from street dogs, cows, cats giving them excuse such as will harm you. Come on from child i have feed hundreds of street dogs, cats and cows and nobody has harmed me. Instead my friends call me dog master as be it any dog, within five minutes i make it my pet. I do not know why but dogs and cats behave as if they understands what i says.

And sorry no photos of me as i was the photographer and thus no photos.

Ya its STUDDS chrome helmet. I have two helmet, one i use for city and other for highway riding. You have seen in my extreme photos on highways there would be different helmet. I have a chrome and a Rhyno helmet. Chrome i use in city and Rhyno on highways. The rhyno costed me Rs. 1800 and is a very good helmet. Has air vent on chin and on top which can be closed and opened. Also the helmet inner material is washable and fits snug with no freeplay on head. Wind noise is very less and also helmet feels a lot strong.

Absolutely true we humans are the only sore of this planet we should be wiped out completely from this planet only then this beautiful globe will survive(like in the movie "The Day The Earth Stood Still") ,So you are also like me, same case with me every dog or cow becomes friend of mine very soon, one day i was feeding 10 stray dogs in a nearby market one passerby commented that i should be alert while feeding them or they can bite me, i said that only humans bite me and not dogs.

The plug looks like the manual of the bike prescribes, you must be getting very good mileage and your bike engine must be running like butter.Splendid man.

Hi Everyone,

My friend's IND-SUZUKI AX100 was left unused for many years, finally got the chance to get itself restored.
Its now with me and i doing all the dismantling and rebuild but stuck with a problem bolt, not sure whether i would be needing to use a stronger tool.
Its the engine bolts on the frame that seem stuck maybe due to all the years of idle storage. I did spray WD-40 on the bolt and nut and left over night but to no avail.

The pic of the bike with the problem bolts circled in red.

Are you using regular spanner ?
Try a socket and 1/2" handle with a hollow pipe as an extension to increase leverage(as a cheater bar).
The engine bolts are usually very tight.

Good luck with the restoration.
