I bought this polish by seeing the fellow bikers using it here in xbhp.
What abrasive does is , takes away few microns off clear coat of paint diminishing surface scratches and exposing fresh layer of clear coat which makes bike feel new. Doing this once in two months is ok , regularly will eat paint . if you notice after you polish vehicle by this polish , cloth turns to color of paint (slightly) . Use waxpol ultra glow , Formula 1 carnauba , Good Ol waxpol orange tin , turtle black magic . I use Formula1 carnauba wax.

For newer gen bike i felt waxpol ultra glow showroom wax to be perfect , bit expensive but worth it

You are damn correct. I rubbed the bike's surface with a yellow coloured cloth. It did turn a slightly blackish colour. This is the first time i have put external coating on my bike. Thank you so much for the guidance. I will now start hunting for the wax. By the way, i have planned to polish or wax the bike during every services, like once in 3 months. So, i will not be polishing it regularly.

For info , Polish actually means taking off few micron thick of clear coat by use of rubbing compund such as 2K rubbing compound, Nasty stuff , it can eat through paint in matter of swipes . Professionals use it to rub minor scratches and apply a clear coat afterwards to seal it. I saw refrain from that product , use it once in 2 months as regular usage will result in no clear coat . I used to polish using this product but it came in packaging of Robert's Polish .

The wax you pointed out is ok , nothing much to brag about . But another product from Waxpol stable is Orange can wax . Best wax i used for splendor . Somehow it has little or no effect on CBZ . For cbz i use Formula1 Carnauba wax, Beware markets are flooded with cheap remakes of Formula1 wax, weirdly most of the remakes have written on label that they are 100% replica of imported stuff , Wow they boast pretty well.

Has anyone used Nulon Engine Treatment oil? It os premixed with 2 litres of petrol.
Thinking of giving a treatment to my Pegasus(Splendor)!
If anyone tried, Can you point out the things which you noticed different?

I have used it on my bike cd dawn.

After oil change. Heat bike by driving 10 min. Then pour tin in oil. After that use bike for next 20 min. Bike feels smooth after that. It reduces friction. Follow instructions on tin.

I ordered online and received next day in Pune from Delhi.

Its added to engine oil and not petrol...
You need to add it to the engine oil and run the bike on it for 5 to 10kms...throw away that oil and add new oil.. flushing an engine requires a lot of thinking. here is why. What a flush does is basically removes sludge and grime and carbon deposits from within your engine and 'cleans ' it from the inside. It is good for the engine say done at 20000kms... now, if your engine is 50000kms or more run, chances are the clearances inside your engine have increased and are packed with carbon deposits essential in maintaining a healthy compression etc. Flushing an engine can remove these now 'necessary' deposits and can cause all sorts of problems the common being compression loss and oil consumption. Also, engine flushes have a tendency to eat through rubber seals and paper gaskets etc. Engine oil treatments in wet multi plate clutched engines also have a tendency be abrasive on the clutch plates and cause early wear and tear....Advice would be stay away. A good option would be to run a cheap oil say like servo for 200 kms and throwing it away . It will remove the excess sludge etc. One more thing you can try would be to run the bike on expensive fully synthetic oils as they clear up the carbon deposits with a gentler touch...if I may... if you do flush the engine remember to follow it with an engine treatment mixed with fresh engine oil.... it will restore some of the compression loss if the engine suffers from it. Also, dont run the flush for more than 5 to 10 kms or 15 mins of idling... best of luck...

On a personal note.. I did perform the flush... but it didnt make a huge difference. what did make difference was new valves lapped by hand and piston and head decaRbing.. flushing cars is way more beneficial due to the comparatively lower reves and lesser oil additives and separate gearboxes etc...
Also clean your carb to notice a crisper response. Modern 4stroke engines on correct afr dont face too much sludge build-up or carbon depositing.

Engine treatment is additive. It creates a layer of Teflon on moving parts thus reduce friction. Increase efficiency.

Flush is different from engine treatment.

For 4 strokes its supposed to be mixed with the engine oil and for 2 strokes in the petrol tank. How to use it has been clearly explained on Nulon's website.
I too ordered a small can a few years ago from their website and had used it on my Dio. Never did create a problem and IMO should be safe for using it (at least once in a while)
Don't expect it to fix a broken engine though .. bottom line__ no additive beats regular maintenance !

I thought you may be out with your cousin so i didn't call you. Instead i think it is my fault as i couldn't take care as you were my guest. I am extremely sorry for that. Next time when you come then on arriving at bhubaneswar call me, so that i can remember. You know what i am very good at forgetting things.

Sir jee, please dont feel sorry. Its ok. I am sorry too for improper communications from my side. I too felt very sad while returning from bhubaneswar for not meeting you. Travelling 1500 kms and not able to meet a friend!.I have to apologise for not calling you.Had i bothered you, we could have met. What i have planned was, meet you, go a town ride and a highway ride in your joy, meet your mechanic, purchase some tools and wax, stop in a calm and lonely place (like near the airport) and have a little chit chats, then we 3 go for dinner outside and to say farewell. So next time when i come, (may be in the end of next year for sure) i will definitely bother you for sure, no matter what you think. Okay?! You live in a wonderful place. Super cool climate, organized traffic, wide roads, ample parking space, and not to forget the petrol price. It is 5 rupees lesser than here.Everywhere i turn, i see green green green. I love nature a lot, so it was an unlimited feast to my eyes. The park near shahid nagar (well, i dont remember the name clearly), nandhankanan zoo and the botanical garden near the zoo, the places near the airport, watching the runway at night, that too in rain!! wow, what an experience we had!. Cousin goes to work in the day time and i sleep all day long, then we roam at night. Since i dont know anybody (except you), oriya, a little bit of hindi, i was not supposed to step out of the house.I saw a signboard telling "Chennai 1264 kms" near a fly over. Then, i have studied about chilika lake in primary school, but when i saw it with my eyes, i was stunned and speechless. As huge and wide as an ocean. Andhra too was a beautiful place. No wonder Andhra is the leader in producing wheat and grains in our country (I have read that in newspaper). Vegetation land everywhere, hard working farmers. I am going a little off-topic are'nt I? Ok, let me relate it with the topic. In Bhubaneswar, me and my cousin went to every places, roaming, night rounds, hang out etc etc.. in his newly bought PASSION PRO!!! When ever i think of this trip, it really pains for me, for not meeting you but, if there is a first time, then there will be a second time also, wont it?!

Local hero service is refusing to sell spares unless I give them my bike for "service" . My foot ! So I am going to hero parts distributor tomorrow to buy a list of small replacement spares I need now . Need your inputs before that guys .

Sir jee, may i interrupt here? Before 2 weeks my bike was serviced by my local mechanic. My mechanic suggested me to change the rear wheel's sleeve. So I went to Hero showroom to get a new one. I did get one. The only thing is that I had to show my old sleeve as passions have 2 models in sleeves. I have also bought engine also from them.

Then your ASC is more co-operative than mine . I have no energy left to argue the very pretty and equally dumb girl who sits at their spares counter . Tried it for two days already - final remedy is to phone the Hero sales manager . But there is no remedy for reluctance and unwilling service . Easier to get it from the distributor - Bansal Motors . The ASC gets theirs from them only .
