till 4 months ago i used this liquid polish after washing with a car shampoo i dont remember shampoo name but it costs below 100rs and a little yelloyish colour.

after that only servicing is done from svc and i dnt have time to wash.

now the condition is this what is this and how i can solve it?

      and also
      1) a good shampoo -- u can use any shampoo
      2) waxpol is not available here. i enquired manyshop. they only have liquid polish. Formula1 and motomax polish is available. is that good?
I think it is a Teflon coating!
Its very hard to rmakeup or remove.
I've messed up with this...here is the post http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcyc...tml#post869069

Mine tank condition was really bad. I removed it using buffing wheel, took 6 hrs. It was so hard to remove that at last I become exhausted. Its 9 yrs old, but it turned white after 5 years or so.
but remember always avoid to stand your bike on a direct sunlight, otherwise condition will become more worse like was mine.

So check the timing. If timing is correct then richen the mixture by half turn and see. If it works then re-tune the bike.

Checked the timing and its ok, one thing i wanna know....in manual its written to match a Line on the left of T with the index mark, but my nearby mechanic use T to match it. who is correct?

I adjusted the carburettor, this time i used different technique. On straight road, after warm up i noted the difference on each sequence, adjusting the air screw every time starting from opening from 1 followed by 1.25, 1.5, 1.75, 2. and turning the fuel cock OFF when speed reached to constant 40 kph.

Previously i was running at 2 and got 58 kmpl and the bike was going 1 km only after turning fuel cock OFF
On 1 round open my bike gone to 1.5-1.7 km. This is the max i ever get in my life.
So i got the appropriate area where to leave the air screw.
I stand the bike, when i completely closed the air screw the bike didnt shuts down, in fact when i open by 1/5 of it, its shuts down.....it was not like this, what can be done?
I continued to tuning and the peak rpm i found at 1.15 open and when i go beyond it the rpm decreased, so i left it there at 1.15.

Now, the acceleration is smooth, No more starting problem, No more hiccups now. But there is no change in the spark plug color every time i tuned it.
Will check for mileage and report you..

Spark plug color will change after riding for sometime. Check the pulsar coil, your pulsar coil is weak as i confirmed from my mechanic. Change your pulsar coil and your current will become correct. T mark is used for checking timing and F mark is for the stroboscope for timing measurement.
        @ Sibun
I check the mileage and got 60 kmpl now, can i expect more? I've completed about 700 km after DE-carbonize.

Pulsar coil is a censor right? It tells the CDI when to spark? correct?
I'll come to this point later coz today i cleaned the spark plug will post the pic of it after driving for few kms.
for the timing i've shoot the video of my spark...here is check it out!

          • Teflon here is a polish, not PTFE. It is as good as or better than any other car polishes or waxes, lasts a few months and does not make or leave any visible marks or changes color when wet. The only drawback is that the SC charges 400 to 600 rupees for this polishing. I have seen thousands of Teflon coated bikes on road (a good majority of bikes anywhere is Teflon coated at the SC without the consent of its owner) without any marks or scratches left.
The biggest scams are aftermarket air filters, spurious oil and fuel additives, recommending specific engine oil and that too not recommended by the bike’s manufacturer or turning the AFR screw to increase the power, torque and mileage of a bike, asking to change oil at first 50 or 75 or 100 kms etc.
Effects of lacquer coating are different. And do not use any cheap Indian polish/wax marketed as carnauba wax as carnauba is costly and cannot be sold so cheap. Beware of the wood, floor and shoe polishes marketed as bike’s polish too.
Athul’s bike was lacquer coated; I guess.

              • Also the liquid polish you used (Robert's , now marketed as Motomax by pididlite I think) is mildly abrasive , better avoid it . Since it is recent , contact the service guys who did the teflon thing on the bike . This won't be the first such case they have and they may have a solution to remove it . Otherwise you'll have to remove the decaying polymer-like layer without damaging the paint top coat yourself - a daunting task . Try out suggested methods on small inconspicuous patches to determine what works best, beforehand .
After removal of the offending layer , just wash and wax your bike with any one of the good local products . For a quickie , a wash with weak household detergent solution and 2 buckets of water followed by a fast polish with waxpol silicone-liquid-polish is just nice and harmless too (am doing just this nowadays, works well). Never wipe the bike . For more lasting protection use plain non-abrasive wax .

but the roberts liquid polish and motomax liquid and cream polish available in same shops.

                  Motomax cream wax 230g = 200rs
                  Formula 1 cream wax 230g = 300rs

both are in yellow round coverings with a sponge( pad) to apply it.

@ sibun. friend did you got any solution for my paint.

                  • Possible . The shop may be selling their old stock along with the fresh . Check the Motomax website where they say that their Liquid-polish was "... formerly known as Roberts Liquid Polish .." and that it contains "very fine emery" - an abrasive .

Not familiar with Motomax but most of the Formula 1 we get are fake. Why can’t try ARMOR ALL wax and polish or their STP, SON OF A GUN wax polish? Excellent result is guaranteed.
Another good wax polish is Collinite 845 but it is bit costly.

but if waxpol is available in your city then buy waxpol cream polish, its gives excellent result. u'll surprise to see it!
AUTO POLISH ...it is also available on 50g as scooter polish, i got for Rs.45

                            • Yes , I got it from a automotive-paints shop . Some big general hardware/sanitaryware shops and furniture finishing shops sell it too (It's also used to polish wooden floor and furniture etc) . Waxing is bit too much work nowadays , Herohonda ASCs here are using waxpols silicone liquid polish - all done in 10 mins , so I'm I .
