MRF Zapper Q 110/90-18, Pirelli Sport Demon 110/80-18, Ceat Zoom (or something similar) 110/90-18.
      Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

I also went for a short ride to yelagiri will update pics soon

God Damn Son! that's insane i got about 28k and then changed to PSD's the stock ones were horrible on wet conditions.

BTW guys i am using Shell Ax7 10w40 on my bike now and the engine has become smooth and mileage has definitely increased, However i think the inital pickup has dropped a bit compared to MOTUL 10w30 , So i have bought both Ax7 and Motul again during amazon sale will change back to motul and check if the pickup comes back.

I recently went for an extreme offroading on my bike...yes, the Karizma ZMR, and trust me it rides really really well. The rear tyre is Meteor Mogrip and it is good for all roads, bad roads, and no roads!

The only issue was that I forgot to put back the snorkel, otherwise the low-end torque would have made the ride a hell lot easier. The ZMR has enough grunt and power to push through all types of terrain. More reason why I don't plan to sell it. Here's the youtube link.

My apologies if links are not allowed.

Guys my brother wants to buy a new bike, and has left the decision on me. He doesn't wish for rev crazy, sporty ones. He wants to ride cozily with good low end torque. Hence I can think of unicorn cb160 and hero xtreme only. Anyways I have almost decided on hero xtreme, unless you guys steer me away with strong reasoning.

Meanwhile, the Hero showroom has got a 2014 karizma R (non FI) in stock at a discount. They will sell it for 76000 on road! It's brand new except minor scratches due to mishandling by the workshop guys.

Now I don't know what I wish to achieve by it. But I am thinking of buying that karizma R and putting the PGM-FI from my ZMR into that (i think cylinder head will have to be changed too, I will get it done by experienced hero mechanic), alongwith my Pirelli tyres and other goodies. This way I will have a new bike with projector headlamps and sell off my old zmr (which will have carburettor in it).

Note: There are zero problems in my 7 years old ZMR, it has done only 22000 kms till now. I have maintained it perfectly with all new parts as and when required. I mean, I am not looking to get rid of it, that's why I asked whether it's a feasible idea? Or a waste of time?

Hero currently is facing a tough time with after sales. It should resolve soon. But bigger bikes never had all spares available from the get go.
Do look at Xtreme Sports if you want to stick to Hero. It has reportedly gotten few upgrades and is smoother and alive in lower revs too.

Stay stock and don't do any such mods. Stay with a known devil.
