    Arrey never knew that DRAGATMAX was your ID Dude, why aren't you going for a new Fairing!. Its just Rs 1700. I have seen your headlight & it seems perfectly OK. So you just need to change your fairing. And fitting any other thing on 220 will make it loose the identity.
    If you are really planning to change your rear disc to RTR disc, please call me up as I want to look at the installation up close & personal :P

        Cracking your head is bigger problem than losing knees or elbows.

        @dragatmax: If you have insurance, it wouldn't cost much to replace only the plastic parts. The headlight assembly seems fine visually, are they working? If they are, then alot of money is saved for you. You're right about the P220 fairing being the identity of the bike.

            even i had a similar complain about such noise. went to the service center and there the mechanic told me there is water in the tank and sometimes it goes to the engine. that makes such noise.

            he removed my tank to clean it and there was not little but near about 3 liters of water in the tank

              My bike has done 10k and i need to get the service done but the stock of active extra is finished all over chandigarh and is not expected any sooner also its loaded everywhere with 20w40 so everyone is more interested to sell that. Many other brands are available quoting 20w50 but i don't wanna take any chances on it. I'm having around 750 ml of active extra that was left over from the last service.
              Now i'm having 2 queries :
              1. Any suggestions about the Power 1 racing 4T fully synthetic. (Its been a long time since a discussion was started about it so i don't remember what was the final outcome - TO USE OR NOT TO USE)
              2. or should i go on with the power 1 . No specifications are mentioned on it but its some part synthetic.

              also.
              if i get the power 1 racing. do i need to get the engine flushed ?

              • @aditya13286 : Power 1 Racing performed very well for me.. It lasted a good 4+K, after which it was like riding on any mineral oil.. So far it is the best I have used.. I havent used Motul 300V, so cant compare..
                But when I had Power 1 Racing, there was a minor leak of oil and hence decided to discontinue the same..
                I would say, best is to stick with semi synth oils like Motul 5100 or Valvoline 4T Premium.. They didnt cause any oil leak for me..

                • thanks vinal but problem is i can't find any stockist of motul having the required rating oil . but if this synthetic oil is lasting only 4k km then i find no use spending 1300 on it. its proving to be not worth it when 3 bottles of active extra can last for 5000 km and will cost me 650.
                  is there any benefit of spending so much on the oil ?

                    3 Litres of water!!! How the hell 3 lts of water went into your tank. So your bike must have been getting stalled frequently?

                    • If you ask me, I will still prefer Synth oil, provided that wont result in a leak .. Bike was never that smooth.. Again, many are using 300V/Power1 Racing with out leaks..
                      Read my post again, I told after 4K it was like a mineral oil :P..
                      Active extra never made me happy after few 100kms.. Felt like the bike was crying
                      But I would advise you to get Semi Synth only, since I had a bad experience.. Have tried Valvoline and Motul among which Motul was better, not that other one is bad..

                      Again all these oil related stuffs are discussed n times.. You can just check the Engine oil thread

                        4. little drag in the clutch. but in the clutch drag test iam able to stop the wheel with my hand..
                        5. vibrations from the fairing.. coz of dismantling it about 4 times
                        6. vibrations from the brake light unit..
                        7. worn out rear tyre.. just 13.5k kms.
                        8. the most important.. very low mileage.. hardly 30 kmpl..
                        9. there is some problem with CO setting.. here that damn machine doesnt work
                        is it required to clean injectors after 10k kms?

                        say no to 20w40 grades. use 20w50 grades..

                          Double tape it.

                          6. vibrations from the brake light unit..

                          One or more of the mounts might have broken, its a common problem.

                          7. worn out rear tyre.. just 13.5k kms.

                          Tyre wear is subject to riding pattern.

                          8. the most important.. very low mileage.. hardly 30 kmpl..

                          You must be riding hard, 30 is what you get when you ride hard.

                          9. there is some problem with CO setting.. here that damn machine doesnt work

                          How do you know there is a prob with the CO settings?? Read your plugs for more clearer picture on ur AFR.

                          is it required to clean injectors after 10k kms?

                          Dont remember, what does the service manual say?

                            it was sealed when the bike was 2k kms old.. it again started to leak after i flushed the oil in last service.. the oil level is more than recommended.. i dont want to remove the expensive 300v

                            cone set has been replaced at 10k.. but coz of improper fitment there is uneven wear.. the forks were trued at 9k.. still the pbk guys are not able to figure it out.. they had the bike for about 5days..

                            the tyre wear is fine.. its worn out for now.. i dont think uneven tyre wear can cause result into such handling..

                            yes iam riding hard.. always on my college highway on full throttle because i shifted nearby.. but previously i used to get over 38 under the same riding conditions.. i think iam running rich..

                            there was LITTLE carbon deposition on the plugs indicating richer mixture.. but at the same time i have backfire problem..
                            the combustion i feel is fine as water drops from my silencer hole everyday during idling..

                            afaik the manual says to clean at 10k kms.. but these guys refuse to do it..

                              I dont think u'll be able to put a RTR rer disc......RTR rear disc size is just 200MM and P220's i think its 240MM. Same goes for the front as well.RTR 270mm P220 260MM

                              @rahul

                              Ur fork feels hard when u turn it towards the left. I beleive the fork was fitted in prperly.

                              And there is something wrong with ur clutch. May be worned out!

                                You can order motul 5100 from delhi. deposit the money in the account of the shop owner and he may courier it to chandigarh. He does this for delhi...so may be it can happen for chandigarh too.
                                and for rs.395/- this oil can easily do 3.5-4K kms...or you can order 2-3 bottles for future.
