58 kmpl... Dude thats almost next to impossible. No offence, but I think you made a calculation mistake whilst computing your mileage.

The PBK guys told that whole Setup needs to be changed ( that means New Silencer what i came to know ). Although this can be claimed by Insurance, but my point is, is there anybody who can think of any other solution other than going for new one.

Its not 220, but just want you people to know from where the sound is coming.

      2. Is there a possibility of putting Second disc brake on P220...(just wanna know).

Link for the thread wherein one FZ guy has put the second Disc Brake and a few modification :

      1. Depends on where your silence has broken from, if the internal pipes have broken, then there is no permanent fix. If its broken externally then you can try welding it back together. But again not recommended as a long term solution.

      2. For looks and show off yes. Would it be safe no! As you would have to weld the mount onto the fork and that would inherently weak! Why do it, the front is good enough as it is.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the seat.

                    • Update :

Came to know yesterday that my bike's Injector has gone bad and need to be replaced . Since showroom guys was unable to get the problem , they fixed another FI's injector on my bike and it started . Also according to them , Diagnostic Tool showed Injector Error
Question is how come it can go bad inspite of having fuel filter for filtering out impurities ??

                        - How old is your bike?

                        - Your's is the Fi right? Ask PBK about the 5 year engine warranty.

                        - Injectors do go bad over a period of time, but a filter cannot always protect it completely. Can also be due to contaminated fuel.

                        - Have you asked PBK about cleaning the injector and then trying again?

                          - Your's is the Fi right? Ask PBK about the 5 year engine warranty. : No warranty on injector , as per then if it would hv been mfg defect , it would hv gone bad long before and not after 3.5 yrs

                          - Injectors do go bad over a period of time, but a filter cannot always protect it completely. Can also be due to contaminated fuel. :I'm skeptical about fuel contamination , always fill the fuel from COCO petrol pumps. I think filter cant filterout the water properly.

                          - Have you asked PBK about cleaning the injector and then trying again? : Nope
Also I would like to mention , I have used Cyclo Max44 Total Fuel System Cleaner few times around 12k km intervals . By any chance , could it be responsible for injector problem ?

                          • Though i am a 220dtsi owner and a follower of this thread I need replies of these queries from the senior FI owners.
My friend bought a 3rd hand FI clocked 25000+kms. But the bike does not want to accelerate post 80kmph. at that speed it vibrates like a m80 being ripped. I assume that the first owner only did the free services and sold the bike. And till then(12000kms) it haven't got serviced. now my friend wants the bike to make fast and agile like the real 220. what are the necessary steps to be taken pls comment senoirs
