Clearly read it, and by the sounds of it, if the last sensor you're referring to is the Lambda Sensor then it should be a closed loop, cause AFAIK open loops only have knock sensor and air intake sensor.

    • Where ever you are,I remember you with a smile and you’ll always be in my heart. Goodbye my Partner.
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the seat.

Any possibility of water in your tank? That can also cause the mis-firing.

If have to snorkel, just put it back to confirm if that's the cause. But yea its a good idea to keep the snorkel on, especially in the monsoon months!
yup put the snorkel back misfires gone!!! thanks a ton!! but miss the roar now...and also top speeds not goin above 115 even now...i think dfinetly clutchplate probs! and what about the rear sprocket...which is the ideal teeth size recommended?? pulsar 200 dtsi sprocket considerable?..also my rear tyre touches the ground when on center stand..what may be the issue? as i have seen many pulsar 220's whose tyres do not touch the ground...and btw i have stock tyres ..both front and rear.

You can remove the snorkel a bit in such a way that it still remains where it is.. But there is a slight leak induced. It will roar a little that way!

If your PBK has a roller bench, you can try testing on that how much its hitting. Stock 220Fi with stock tyres and sprockets should do about 137-139 on that. If its able to hit high speeds on the roller bench then maybe its not the clutch plates.

This is weird, with the stock tyre the rear wheel will never touch the ground on main stand. How old is your bike and is the rear suspension stock ?

Sharing a happy moment with you fellow 220 owners

Completed 4 years of ownership on Aug 11th. Overall I am a happy owner. The bike fit my requirement of touring . Explored TN, KL, KA, MH, AP and PY on my 220. Was a good off roading and a highway machine during the tours. Was never let down during the rides. Have faced issues but have solved them with the help of fellow 220 owners and the service centers .

Thanks! Odo reads 43k kms. I used the bike only for weekend rides/touring . Do not use it for commuting to office as I go by cab.

Touring on the 220 is such a delight. Munches miles with no difficulty. Its addictive man..! trust me, but though to say i have coveerd 50k in 2 years, most of it is just in commutes like you , have done very few tours(im still a student, so parental pressure and fuel funding ) , but have done enough to taste our bike's capability in that front.!
Plan a tour soon man..!! And enjoy.!

Oh boy, it rekindles my memories of me seeing her the exact way, it was love at first sight. For some reasons, even though me seeing the picture above, feeling somewhat emotional. Damn my light-heartedness

That said, congrats on your new partner, but personally would have suggested to wait for some time towards the end of 2012 for some cool launches. Anyways, people differ, tastes differ. All the very best, and do post a teaser shot of your new tri colored "partner in crime" HERE once you get delivery of her. All the best in munching on miles.

                                Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                                The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                                THE END
