      You can use:
      Shell AX 7 FS 10w 40
      Motul 300v

I personally use Valvoline 20w40. And since then the engine I feel has running smooth its clocked more than 2500 amd still no sign of change. Before this I too used the hero oil the engine used to get heated a lot and there was oil leakage as well but after using Valvoline i am very much happy.

The other two oils which i have mentioned have not been used by me so can't comment on them. Use 20w40 grade oil, that will be better.

        AX7 is not fully synthetic.

Its been idle for a really really long time now. So thought of getting it rebuilt with all the consumables replaced, plus broken or damaged parts would also be replaced. The whole intake side is brand new, also the AIS. Then front shocks, rear suspension bush etc would also get replaced.

Don't Use any fully synthetic oil in zma. This oils are highly thin and made for high performance motorcycles. Specially Motul300v. It's just waste of money as it does not add much to the performance of zma. Because it's highly thin, it leaks through the engine gaskets. I have wasted my 1000 bucks for it once. Now I am more happy with 20w40 mineral oil, smoother and cooler.

Which oil are you currently using bro?

I never was convinced using fully synthetic oil or motul. Last oil i used was hero oil and it just made my bike heat a lot and oil leaking through gaskets. Now I am Valvolin since feb and have completed 3k kms and the oil is still performing good.

You can prefer any 20W40 mineral oil. I use Shell AX5 also called as Shell Peela by mechanics, yellow bottle. Costs 250 rupees and can be used safely till 3500 kms.

Sorry but you cannot use any mineral oil for >2500 km without hurting the engine in the long run.

You are absolutely right Dipya. But after getting married, I have to do that. The funds for zma partly get diverted to better half.

That is a different matter altogether. But here it seemed from your post that you were in favor of mineral oil till 3500 km.

My zmr cries for oil change after 1000kms when I use mineral oil. 1500 is max for me !! Same holds good with shell semi synthetic.

3500 on mineral is good only on papers just as Hero recommends oil change at 6000kms for Hero oil [emoji35]
