    @ Chandan_ZMA...we all wanted you to have a trouble free ride without injuring either you or others in the process...which is why we were requesting you to be moderate in your riding.. Glad you have taken it in right spirit and riding safely..
    Your DIY of fitting a Pulsar Air Filter is a welcome exploration....I am using a Zen MPFi car's Air Filter in my ZMA with good result. Few members have also done the same.

      @psr Sir thank you very much for your kind words as always !

      Will be extra catutious every time in making sure i am not engaging myself and my mean machine in dangerous and high speed drives.

      I have gone through your earlier posts for Zen MPFi car's Air Filter for ZMA. Just wanted to check one thing is it a direct fit or did you manage to do some alteration, from where one can source Zen MPFi car's Air Filter.

      Make sure the sponge filter is sealed well and there are no gaps on the edges.

      I also heard like gaps near edges may take dust intake into the engine internals

        As told by you i changed the air filter and spark plug. Now there is a notable increase in pick up and FE..

        Last Sunday went for ride fuelled up 10 ltrs. It was 220 kms total ride. Started sanely but while coming back ripped the bike for most time even touched 130 for the first time. Used the remaing fuel for rest of the week and covered 360 odd kms..

        I am happy now...

          Have a look at it...and pls revert back. Is this the same filter you talking about...?

                        I am not pretty sure about ASS. Indira nagar area we have Millenium motors (Koromongla inner ring road) and few of the times i went with my friend for his 2012 ZMA service as his bike was under warrenty. You can give a try their if you are comfortable with ASS.

                        But my bikes doctor is my trust worthy mechanic who is taking care of my bike from last 7 & 1/2 yrs .

                              I do collect spare parts from various shops and also from ASS near by my area and u can also do the same.

                              You can come to marathali - munnekolala govt school and opposite to that one garage named Maruthi garage and person name is Raju.
                              Ask any body they will guide you.

                                Chandan_ZMA......Mr.Arun aka acs1207 had also done the Zen MPFi mod...I think it is in page 966 of this thread. Here is a Google link to images of the mod...both my , and Mr.Arun's mod are shown from where you can pickup and read about it....
