Mostly from Lamington Rd one f them quoted 600/-...but if there's not much price difference, then I'll buy from nearby place.

          Sorry for the OT

Can I know if I would be able to replace the cdi on my 2004zma with the r series cdi?
Is there is difference between the two?
          Any changes in power etc.

          Thanks in advance.

Afaik the R series cdi is more tuned for mileage than performance. And yes.. you can swap them. And you can swap them with me if you want to. [emoji3]

The present cdi is gone. There is heavy misfire so I have to change it.
Hence wanted to know the differences in power mileage etc.
And is it a direct fit?

CDIs are not supposed to go like that..[emoji45] I dont have experience but I think it is a direct fit.

" The "O" ring chain of Karizmas are thicker and more in width. The drive shaft to which the smaller Sprocket (GB sprocket)is fixed is increased in Length by 1.5mm approximately to prevent the thicker chain from touching the crank case"
The part nos are also changed though the pitch and number of links remain the same as old chain...here is a picture ..The Parts Catalog had reached the Service Centers, but Spares are yet to be organized for the new model of ZMA/ZMR.
                        @psr sir,

Regarding increase in length of drive shaft, Isn't it possible that this change is made to accommodate wider swing arm ? Or is it just to accommodate wider chain.

                          Hi, Everyone!

Finally I booked my ZMA from bhubaneswar to bangalore, after a long wait. My bike was unused since almost last 1.5 year.
                          KMS done- 22500 approx.
I need some guidance for changing the necessary spares.
I also need to paint the tank.
would you please suggest a good service station at bangalore (preferably near Tin factory)?

                          Thanks in advance!
I really can't define myself without my bike

Hello guys...I am little concerned about the mileage my zma is returning... Previously I used to get around 40 in city but past few weeks i have been to morning rides and realised the mileage have been down.
Note: I don't like to rev hard my bike I am a sane rider hardly i go above 100 even on highways. @ divyasharan any inputs from you will be highly appreciated.

                            Thanks

1)Some 500 odd kms since last oil change.
                                2) Air filter... don't remember when last changed but had got it cleaned. Its around 4yrs old
                                3) Spark plug is too few yrs old.

This Sunday went to Lonavala filled 8 ltrs of fuel and it returned 33 kms. 260 kms instead of 320...pick up i felt a little on low side as I hardly rev the bike and my daily work commute is 8 kms[emoji12]
