Anyways will try my best to do the settings.

        Hi Team,

Can anyone please suggest me the best quality front fork oil for my 2012 ZMA (22k kms) and Is it necessary to change the oil seal at the time of changing the oil?

Also I need to know the exact amount of oil needed for each fork. I heard that excess oil in the fork will set uncomfortable riding experience.

        Thanks in advance.

I do not think you will notice any optimal difference in selecting a brand for fork oil.

In my case i could easily figure out the engine oil performance but i am not that smart enough to find any difference after fork oil replacement.
Recently i went with Motul fork oil which comes with 350 ml of pack and getting sound result. Divided the oil quantity into two half for the front forks.

Oil seal can be confirmed by your mechanic. If it's not leaking then replacement is not needed i assume.

Excess oil will make your shocks stiff which in return may give bad results in pot holes and may cause pain in shoulders in long drives and city twists and prone to skidding chances are there up on hard breaking.

It would be really great if i could get some ones suggestion regd the issue currently i am facing in my ZMA.

1.5 years back their was some kinda misfiring sound from my ZMA's silencer and my mechanic suggested me to rush down to any gas welding shop and describe the issue which they could able to fix.

I did the same and the guy in olding shop did some gas olding from outer part of the silencer and polished it and in return misfiring sound has completely gone

From that time onwards when i take the bike out for a spin or let say return from 20km city traffic drive (once engine is hot) once i off the ignition, getting the sound like tik tik tik tik continuously for 5 mins and gradually sound frequency is decreasing but remains for another 15 to 20 mins but i am not facing any issues in this process.

Just wanted to have expert advises like is this normal or do i need to take any steps, as i am not sure if it's a problem or indication that engine is cooling

PS : tik tik tik tik was not that prominent before gas olding. Earlier it was there but more prominent after the olding.

                Pics attached.

Was there a hole before it was welded ?

Tic tic is normal. I guess it is the catcon cooling down.

Thank you Sir for the reply !!

No sir their was no hole before the gas welding.
I assume there is another pipe inside the silencer which was disconnected and was causing some misfiring and odd sound when i used to twist the throttle.

To keep the internal pipe intact the welding process was carried out. But i am not facing any issues. Only concern is tik tik tik tik sound is more prominent for a long time after the gas welding and it's frequency is gradually decrasing but keep on continuing for another 15 to 20 mins.

                    My mechanic says it's normal

Will follow the same fork oil. BTW Your's model is the best ZMA till date. Nicely maintained

It's normal and happens in all the bikes. It's the sound of the metal contraction while cooling down.

Check this pic. this is condition of my bike's lock console. The lock moves around the console and looks like it is broken or what.

I am not sure what should i do. The bike can be locked with this but the lock moves around.

If new lock is to be replaced, the do i have to get it from authorised hero a.s.c or from any bike repair shop.

                            Bro,
First solution you need to try is get the bike to a good local mechanic and need to open the entire lock set up and ask him to repair it as it is working for you.

If in case the lock set has to be replaced, it is always advisable to go for the genuine one.

Mine ZMA lock set suppose to get replaced as there was some niggling issues with the ignition wiring and i tried fixing it two times with the help of road side mechanics near by my area but within a week again i started the issue like in u turn my bikes engine was getting shut. About to replace with a new one but before i just showed once to my trusted mechanic and the entire lock set was opened and soldering work has properly and all set now and he made my day

As my mechanics place is far from mine so i just showed to near by mechanics initially.

So i suggested you to take u r bike to a good mechanic ...

If the whole lock moves then suspect mounting screws loose or missing. There are 2 screws under the lock set which can be seen from underneath...check if the screws are in place and tighten it . you will need a 8mm long shaft box spanner to tighten it.. Take it to local mech who will be able to do it.

                              • Rev missing/skipping problem

                                Hello guys,

I own a. 2008 HH karizma. Till date this bike has not given me any major problem but lately. There is one peculiar problem exists that is making me 'angry'[emoji41] anyhow coming down to the description.

The bike runs pretty smooth till 60kmpl if I go beyond that then the problem creeps in. Please excuse me if I don't sound too techy like most of the folks here are.

Anyhow the problem is like.. You will feel the bike is about to stall then it picks up again after few seconds it again misses then power then miss then power.. But if I keep it under 60kmpl there is no problem.. I took it with service centre guys.. Their answer is quite professional.. They said the bike is quite 'old' and keep it under 60kmpl. I use this baby for daily commuting.. To and fro From office which is 90kms (total)

I have done the following but still problem exists:

                                1) cleaned petrol tank for any dirt residue
                                2) changed the spark plugs
                                3) changes engine oil
                                4) got chain set changed ( because one stupid mechanic told that the chain is too loose and saggy and is rubbing against the cover[emoji29])
                                5) got air filter changed several times.. It has now green air filter as yellow isn't available anymore.

Any idea guys how to fix this problem?

                                Thanks!
