      Oopsie. You're right.

Yeah, it'd be best to start a thread in the 'What Bike?' section.

Also, there are numerous threads on the comparison and discussed till death. I wonder why do you want to bring the comparison to this ZMA ownership thread?

Please limit your discussions around ZMA for the benefit of this ownership thread.

To your question on the mileage of 2011 ZMA - Yes, as many reported the mileage is better than previous version. What's your next question?
I am sorry for disturbing the decorum of this thread and thanks a lot for answering my questions....

if you are too much bothered about minor niggles and notice tiny problems then ZMA will bother you at times. For me it happens. Well vibrations are there typical HH problem. Footpegs and handle bar vibrates at 5k rpm and above its very minor and never posed a problem for me.

Other than that its an awesome bike its a bliss in city as well as highways. Have loads of torque. A neat suspension setup ( not designed for the track it is soft and comfortable). Excellent touring abilities. No back pains at all.

The only thing is that not so good at corners and flicking at 70 above speeds is dangerous . But it has precise handling.

            These are my personal experiences
Cheetahs are faster but the lion is still the KING

                      • I've been facing a new issue.
When riding solo, no issues, have taken her upto 130Kmph speedo and shes steady as a rock. But when riding with pillion, anything above 80Kmph and the rear fishtails, especially while accelerating hard or braking.

And when sudden acceleration is given from idle the bike becomes unsteady i.e quivers. Nothing of this sort when riding solo, only happens with pillion.

And cornering is also affected, even when cornering solo, the rear fishtails. The tires is in traction but still the bike feels like its fishtailing.

Dilip bro, rode the bike yesterday with me as pillion, and said it was due to a wornout swingarm bush, but the query is that my bikes just around 15~17K old (ODO 13k, Speedo was inactive for a few months.) Isnt it too early??? And I would've replaced it anyways, but came to understand that it costs around 2~2.5k for the swingarm bush. So wanted a second opinion on the same, regarding normal life of swingarm bushes.

Swing arm bushes last for ages. Just try greasing them. Even if you want to replace , you can try bushes from the first model Pulsar. Fw people have used it, cost only Rs.60/- for a set of 4 bushes. It also depends on the condition of the tyre. If you are on stock tyres, its bound to happen.

Thanks alot, 60/- is a big saver.
Yeah stock tire, but looks like it'll last another 20k.
Ravi sir also said that he's still using stock, so might check into other things, next thing to suspect is suspension settings. Currently its set at softest, will try setting it at hardest.
